We seem to have lost the news thread where the attack helicopter nerfs were announced. We all agree they were OP after the initial barracks troops rebalance, but they were nerfed back to irrelevance with the re-rebalance. Here are some ideas to make them a little more effective if a player puts in some time and resources.
  • Increase benefits of upgrading barracks. spending 14 days and 14 million food to get a 0.3% increase in hitpoints is insulting. The last upgrade that gave extra troops was a little over 3% (5/150), so 2% hitpoints/damage for each level seems reasonable. Completing all possible upgrades would provide an 18% benefit.

  • Change library rotorcraft benefits to something like
1 5% hitpoints
2 5% machine gun damage
3 5% rocket damage
4 decrease troop space by 2
5 Increase rocket range by 1

I one hundred percent agree with the barracks expertise issues. Waiting so long and spending so many resources to get such meager benefits is more than insulting. We were practically scammed.

This "rebalance balance" was an enormous "bait and switch" in my opinion. I think they got people in love with the attack helicopter only to pull a rug out from underneath them later. I have a fairly good offensive museum around a 140% attack helicopter damage and around 60% boosted hit points. The only way I'm able to compete with triple D Max defensive bases now is to use expensive troop tactics. But maybe that's what Nexon wanted all along?
