I am currently trying 3 cart, archers and spikemens, when my pikemen does protect the carts, its so easy to keep them alive, liking this build so far

I am mid medieval age, I have ballistas and carts right now, I tried going with 1 cart, 2 ballistas, 10 archers and 29 spikemen and it is really hard to keep them alive, Before having carts and ballistas, I was running with 50+spikemen and 10 archer, I was doing ok, but I am trying to upgrade...

I see people making "alts" in this game, is there a way to give resources to your allies that are in your alliance?
