World War Matchmaking Downtime
Earlier today (4/12) World War Matchmaking was inaccessible, we apologize for this inconvenience. As of 1pm EST you can claim 250 Crowns and 5x 1h Speed Ups as compensation, this must be claimed within 5-days.
Nexon forced everyone to sandbag unless the issue is fixed. To be honest, 80% of the teams we have faced have been using sandbags, hence we have must some counter measures for those sandbag bases. The reason I am posting this is that Nexon need to address base strength values especially in AA...
Here's another mismatch we have encountered.....:
Enemy: 18AA 4GA 2IA 1EA 1GP 4Iron
Us: 9AA 9GA 6IA 1EA 1GP 2C 2Iron
Win:Lose Glory is 1187:33
I reckon there must be a glitch or exploit that these teams are using to hide base strength in AA bases. Previously we have AA major bunker...
I saw one of my war replay have a similar bug, my silo was sabotaged while arming and then once sabotage overdue, my silo managed to fire two missiles within 2 secs, and the 3rd on comes after 5sec.
Poor AI is makes player thinks builds better base design.
Have you thought about why are there intended wall holes in good base design? Because Poor AI makes your units goes wild.
The conclusion will be that they will not fix the game AI since poor AI thing have been known since 2015.

Industrial Age : 1 bomber + 1 plane.
GA and AA: 1 or 2 plane/s + 1 transport.
Back in the days. where there is no buff on bomber hp. I found 1 bomber + 1 plane is most effective against IA since there is no SAM and tower can easily be sniped using bomber + plane combo. and FC can be sniped too...

Agrees.. especially for oil loot.
GA war loot should be increased by 50% - 100%,
AA war loot should be increased by 100% - 200%.
Glory can be a multiplier for war loot as well; for example:
12000-14000 = 1.05
14000-16000 = 1.10
16000-18000 = 1.15
and so on.
Matching by glory creates bigger problems, new players IA and below won't be welcomed in glory driven world wars. Say you have an alliance with 5AA 10 GA 10IA 10 EA 5GA and rest below. if they want to win, they would assign 5AA + 10GA for a 15 players wars rather than a 40 v 40 fun war. Hence...
I support missile silo, but just need to adjust firing rate to 25sec to 30sec so that rallying can really work. Otherwise using rallying with missile silo in range even with sabotage is a suicide.
This is for GA and AA base attacks:
New building missile silo has introduced, rallying may not always work. protect is useless imo now, I would bring 1 sabotage for TC and rest decoy.
ALWAYS plan your attack is the key for success, since every base has different weaknesses / different building...
Top 70% counts 100% base strength score
Top 70%-80% counts 75% base strength score
Top 80%-90% counts 50% base strength score
Last 10% counts 25% base strength score
This algorithm would effectively eliminates sandbaggers.
