Upgrade times

Shouldn't the upgrade times shorten for lower ages the more new ages are released so that it is easier to catch up to the new ages?? I heard criticism that this would not allow players to enjoy the lower ages more, or that this would make players reach endgame content faster where there wont be anything left to do anymore. I don't feel like that would be the case at all. Giving free speed ups now via events would satisfy somewhat but I still feel like the time reduction should exist. I mean the sudden giant upgrade time leap in industrial age from enlightenment age should shorten. In the summer rush event, wouldn't it be wise to give upgrade time reduction from 75% - 15%???? Where 75% upgrades apply up to industrial age and 50% in global, 25% in atomic, cold war and and 15% for ages beyond.

Lol then its nearly impossible to max out in endgame ages xD 1 building takes in average 17days, 15% is wortless
And why would u need 75% for industrial? There it only takes what? 3 days to upgrade something?
Based on what u are suggesting that would mean that everyone will get stuck between digital age and information age, since all buildings take 15d or more, per building..

And why would u need 75% for industrial? There it only takes what? 3 days to upgrade something?

industrial age upgrades range from 7 days at minimum to 12 days at maximum. The time increases absurdly from here on onwards. Yes based on what I suggested players actually will get stuck in info, digital and drone ages. Because they will be very close to the end game content. Devs put up that much time so that players are forced to play the game for a longer time. 17 days still are absurd, but if they reduce the time near the end game too much then you'll hit the endgame wall very fast. You'll nothing left to do then, world wars will be the only thing left. Your resources will lay idly full. Only there to be robbed in MP. Until they make a game mode or a feature which has high replayability that makes you use idle resources often even after you max out everything, they should make it a struggle from maxing out all of the game's upgrades. What I suggest is that they make it easier to catch up to the game's newer contents/meta content but let it remain hard to actually 100% complete the game.

Well the problem stays the same, wether they reduce the time needed to finish all buildings in endgame or not, in both situations the endgame players get bored cuz uve to wait 17d per building.. they better add something that keeps u active like missions or so.. inter alliance world war, same age wars..
