Apologies for my confusion, but are the changes to the MRL permanent or for this event only?

As of Version 9.1 (or maybe even 9.0), APC's have been spawning Spearman. They don't seem to be as weak as their original counterparts, but they are definitely weaker than Bundeswehr (AA German Heavy Infantry). Is anyone else seeing this problem? What nations shine in which age? (i.e. British dominate at later ages, but Greeks are worth in earlier ages.)

After it's recent buff and invincibility to traps, is it worth to research and use in battle now? If so, how reliable is it and wich nations work the best with it?
