    ...I only got a response to my 2nd complaint though, not the first. So if you don't hear something in a reasonable time frame you might need to remind them you're still waiting.

    @keltech thanks for reminder about reviews. Made me remember I left a 4 star weeks ago, before the recent spate of bugs and non-response from customer service. Time to go adjust that.

    The general advice so far is to send an in-game Customer Support request, and then wait (can be weeks). I don't think they pay much attention to the forums (but everybody please do keep posting when you experience bugs! The community needs to know.)

    Sorry to report that some have waited 2 and 3 weeks for village to get fixed. Also don't expect a message response from Customer Service; they don't seem to do that. At least I haven't read any posts in the forums about people getting messages. There's a good game here, if they can get bugs fixed!

    Maybe closing the app isnt really closing it, or it's leaving some background orphan processes going. Try actually powering off the device instead of just going into sleep or hibernation mode. I've had to do that for other apps before.
