1.5 million per event?

Can anyone explain to me how the weekly global leaders in each event aren't cheaters? Am I to believe people are putting 13k to win an event? And what is a digital or information age player using that many speed ups on?

So this is my math, 1.5 mil event points. 15000 speed ups used( minus the ones done doing event stuff). 60 minutes per 100. Speed up cost is $20 for 24 hours. Equals roughly 12.5 thousand US.

I guess someone can correct my math it i am wrong but how is this happening? do people really spend that much on this game? I am thankful someone does because they aren't getting it from me, but the price of a car to win an event seems a bit much.

I haven't looked closely at any of the numbers, but--if it helps--the math seems off as it relates to money needed. For context, I currently have about 150k points after spending maybe $100 (and not all of that even went to speedups). I'm still sitting on about 26000 more points in speedups as well.

The only place I could find speed ups to purchase, was for 2x 6 hour building and 2x 6 hour research. That's 24 hours and it was $20. You got other things. 60 minutes gains you 100 points. So 24 hours gets you 2400 points. 1.5 mil points divided by 2400 is 625. 625 x $20 is 12500. Btw the new leader is at 700k. Not sure where the leaders from yesterday went.

Of course they are cheaters, it's nothing new. They play with modded apps & unlimited speed ups. They should get removed & band when the devs sweep the leaderboards, only for them to install a new modded app & repeat. There is no stopping it. They have a cloned server where they go and load up with premium Troop tactics (eisenhowers and the likes) buildings (strongholds, tank depots). The game is dirty, you get used to it.

They spam infants or other low train time troops to one star a base 300,000 times through event pass.

These cheats must be reducing the amount of money Nexon can make from events. Once you've been sucked into spending money on one once, only to watch the cheats take the whole global leaderboard, you won't be fooled again. I'm definitely not buying another pass until they deal with this properly.

They struggle with these cheaters for really long time and I am not sure if Nexon is the winner. You can see plenty of other bugs in the game that might be priority in our eyes and definitely yes, there is no sense to buy event passes in order to get to the top of global leaderboard - unless there is a chance to get reasonable legendaries for such a reasonable price buying the event pass and just finishing the event. Not being sure about the applied cheating policy, it is not impossible to protect your game from hackers and cheaters...

Sorry I am not a money spender haven’t bought anything in this game and I rely only on poor legendaries which you can get only for free. Still I have decent museum for war with -90pct AEDTH, +40 pct ADTH, +40pct fighter damage, could be better with expensive legendaries but no thanks, I am not interested.

When this game will end - everything will be forgotten so have fun until the game runs

This is extremely wrong.
I logged this for a month and the speed-up costs ranged between 5.6-21.6 hours per $1. What you quoted is likely for a different sale that threw in speed-ups, which is not a fair comparison.
