5 Minute Speed Ups

I can’t recall the amount of time that is required to update some of my CWA buildings, but I believe there were some that were 15 days.

15 days * 24 hours * 60 minutes = 21,600 minutes. A 5 minute speed up will speed it up by 0.00023 or 0.023%. Useless and pointless.

It would be nice to have speed ups that would reduce time by %’s, say 1%, especially in the higher ages where the game slows down. All I’m doing is waiting. In this example, that would result in 216 minutes or 3.6 hrs. Too much? How about .5%?

Yeah, I know guys, not going to happen...

I was thinking exactly the same way, but hey, better than nothing isn't it? I have stored up 75 5-minute speedups thus making it equal to a 6h one, not bad, especially when I have to complete a construction/upgrade/research in order to free citizens/slots towards catching up an event before it finishes.

Hate to defend nexon but as long as I get like 10 5 minute speed ups for my prize I like them. It helps when an upgrade is running a bit long and I need To get it done before bed. Of all the things to complain about I don’t think this is one

Yes, something is better than nothing. I agree. But wouldn’t it be better if it were ten 15 minute speed ups? :)

A 5 minute speed up for a nearly 22K minute upgrade is kind of useless. Well, not kinda...it is useless.

I played another game for one of the offers that started gifting me 1 day speed ups almost as soon as I started. I assume the goal was to get people to a competitive level as soon as possible. It's crazy Juxtaposed to dominations where I'm riding peace treaties because my oil has been maxed for 2 days and I have no spots available to use it.

I don't think speed ups were meant to reduce upgrades by 'days'. I think the thinking behind them is to finish those last few hours or half-hours so you can start another upgrade.
As Blood said. Who would've thought it possible? 😄

I really like the speed ups just spending them on war critical upgrades like embassy, castle, Merc camp etc..
Save up the rest for the next age.
Even the 5 minutes speed ups like saruman said 72 × 5 min is still 6 hour
