Account Reset

Hi Guys,

I would like to suggest maybe adding a reset account feature till iron age phase of the game. so if a player didnt like his country he can go ahead and reset his account to start over. After iron age though reset will not be available to prevent hackers from resetting one's game.

I myself would like to try out the different countries myself.

i'm an offensive type of gamer so i've tried the ff: romans on my phone, germans on my ipad and greeks on my wife's phone. :| I started playing yesterday and all of them are upgrading to classical age now. So far i like the greeks.

I also think the game must have a feature to allow players to change nation and wonders, at least once in the game. Hope you guys come with a solution for this in a coming update.

I chose the Japanese nation myself purely because the rice paddy farms look awesome and i like the design of the buildings also the idea of the towncentre being able to defend. i agree with this thread it took me ages to decide which nation i was going to be because i knew i wouldn't be able to change it back. you guys have done a great job on this game so far glad to have jumped on board early into its dev

I have to admit. DomiNations is very persistent resetting wise. I've tried to remove my google account, re-add a new one. Removing data and even factory reset. Regardless what I do, DomiNations keeps loading up my original base. I've done this so I can finish up the wonders guide on my other phone, but this is the first game I've seen where I can't even reset my game.

Found a way, not gonna share it though. This is only for me to get more details / info regarding the Wonders.

I do recommend sharing your find privately with Aulia, however Skyrider: it could be used, even if as a basis, for an intentional player feature to be able to accomplish this task.

I'm curious how you did this? I also want to try the other nations and use the stuff learned from mistakes. I tried modded play store, getting a new android id, deleted my id in the game files..... Nothing worked for me....yet

I'm afraid that I'm done with this game until they provide the option to either reset the game back to scratch or the option to change nations. I selected British yesterday and now regret it. I'm not going to spend my time working the game on the hopes that Imcan make this change. If someone knows how to do this for an iOS device, please tell me.

I agree that a reset button is needed but I disagree with the Iron Age thing. The reset button should be available to everyone. Lets say someone decides to do a "French DomiNations Walkthrough" and after they get to the enlightenment era, they want to reset so they can do another. Maybe there could be a way where if you delete your village, you have a month to restore it. I chose the Japanese and I enjoy playing them so far, it's just that I am curious about the other nations like "how useful are the Roman armies" and "is the German rally really worth it". With a reset button, I could try each nation. Another idea would be to have the reset button as I described, but you could instead ALSO pay crowns to switch nations/wonders and your nation WON'T be reset. That way if you don't want to lose your progress, just pay a few crowns and you have a new nation. Just my two cents.
