Airplanes suicidal tendency

I have been noticing it for quite a long time that my airplanes wander the enemy territory on their own after I instruct them to kill a particular target. This becomes even worse when there are clear airplane traps(anti-air gun, towers, Sam battery) they will take 2-3 rounds over them before returning back. I think Nexon should make planes a little intelligent and make them stick to the route which is defined by us.

yes, if the initial target is destroyed, they should NOT search for a new one, but rather just strafe the ground where it was, similar to how bombers work currently. As is, they can do endless circles over an air defense because each troop it picks to target gets destroyed by something else before it can kill it.

It cost me a world war attack. I used the planes to kill the tanks coming out of the forest. They were at the bottommost corner which was the safest area with no defensive building. After killing those tank, the planes decided to go ahead on their own and wander the middle of the map, destroying 3 of them out of 4. Lol

In my opinion, if their target gets destroyed, they should only search for a new target in a small area around where their initial target was.

yes exactly my thought, the worst part it when they wander off to some random path, they don't even attack the target. They just make 360 turns and come back.

this is why I use transports....transport pilots have no illusions about their immortality or flying ability, they just head for the target, drop and return, no questions ask... and they can take two SAM hits no problem :)

Because there will be angry social justice warriors whining even though they never have played the game.

They drop three paratroopers who proceed to kick a-ss on everything around them. Then they drop 3 more on each run and paratroopers are not detected by garrisons and stables so you can drop them on tank stables and knock them out before the battle starts....

Transport are not good at the following: kill HTs, protect highly valuable but often isolated units like howitzers, kill defending howitzers inadvertantly coming out of the TC. Those 3 reasons make it a no-no.

Perhaps for a few shekels they'll allow the planes to be skywriters. Think of how agitated your enemies will be seeing your custom message as their anti-air rips your slow training air force to pieces!!

I assume the writing is in calligraphy given all the weird twists and turns they take.

No Title

I don't know who this Dorothy is, but she'll probably think twice about exacting revenge after this fearsome display of aerial prowess.

but transports are good at staying alive, while fighter planes are good at getting killed...I hate spending oil on plane resuscitation so I'll take my transports despite weaknesses (plus paratroopers make excellent mortar decoys! for all mortars in range! beat that!)

I use 2 Strike fighters and 1 heavy bomber.

I always use the strike fighter for suppressive fire and SAM bait for my bomber. Works as a charm, with one critical thing I need to look out for...
fighters must hit the tower late enough for it to have an effective suppressive fire to protect my bomber, but not so late that the bomber destroys the target bf my fighters have finished shooting at it...
If the latter happens the fighter start circling... like a moth to a campfire - and it doesn't take long before it goes down in flames...

Annoying - so I agree with the rest. If target is destroyed the fighter should return home or at least just do a quick sweep near the area of the original target...

HT´s are your best friends once betrayed :)
Defending howitzers are no problem as long as you have some meatshields ahead of your riflemen or use sabotage on TC. I agree with Brand Marrow, tranports will save so much oil. I almost never lose a transport plane.

No - I think there should be kamikaze planes - at least for the Japanese nation!

Sure, everybosdy's carying 4 betrayals... and sabotage every TC.... and can get the most of their 1hr training blessing. No thanks. Using 4 planes is more versatile and winning you time and ressource in the long run for this specific use case.
