Allies Donation. Is it a bug ???

So I noticed it long ago but pointing it out now. Whenever you request for troops and log out of the game, the next time you log back in, only then you will see the donated troops getting into your Town Center.
It hurts when I finished my raiding and ready to call it a night. I ask for howitzer or artilleries to protect my town center but if I get it after I log out, it won't be applied to the defense when I am getting raided in my sleep.
Is it a bug or is it by design. Can we do anything about it?

So, are you saying that when you are attacked (overnight) and watch the replay your donated units do not deploy from the TC? I have never had this problem at bed time and I also do this regularly. Regardless I would report this to CS. Seems like a bug to me.

They don't deploy from the TC because they aren't in the TC. Troops that are donated when you are logged out will only arrive the next time you log in. This is indeed annoying, and though I wouldn't get my hopes up, a change would be nice.

Exactly my point. They should be in the TC irrespective of whether I am logged in or not.

Okay, that is what I thought you meant. I can honestly say I have not experienced this personally. (That, or I just haven't paid close enough attention!) I am going to bring this up with my fellow Hobbits and see what they have to say. I will watch closely now. I appreciate the heads up either way!
