The v2.5.x update of DomiNations is available in the Google Play and Apple Stores now!

Industrial Upgrades!
  • Introducing a new Industrial Age General: MacArthur!
  • Biplane is now called Biplane Mk1 and has two additional upgrades
  • Zeppelin is now called Zeppelin Mk1 and has two additional upgrades
  • Heavy Tank is now called Heavy Tank Mk1 and has an additional upgrade

Timed Goal Improvements!
  • Goal difficulty now scales with your Age.

  • Animal blessing duration increased from 5 minutes to 10 minutes
  • Animal blessing costs 3 metal and 2 diamonds (up from 3 metal and 1 diamond)
  • Gathering blessing costs 3 cider and 3 fur (up from 2 cider and 2 fur)
  • Training blessing rebalanced
    • Factory troops now benefit from the Training blessing
    • Duration increased from 20 minutes to 40 minutes
    • Costs 6 cider and 2 diamonds (up from 6 cider and 1 diamond)
    • Training time bonus decreased from 70% to 60%
  • Research costs for level 5 and 6 Library technologies rebalanced
    • Banking, Citadels, and Standing Army now costs 800k/1.6m/2.4m food or gold (up from 600k/1.2m/1.8m)
    • Leadership now costs 12k/24k/36k oil (up from 9k/18k/27k)

  • Napoleon's attack speed increased to 1 for levels 16-20 (was 0.8)
  • Cavalry Raider training time increased from 85 seconds to 150 seconds for all levels

  • Vault interest is now calculated correctly
  • Vault resources now appear in the same order as the HUD
  • Fixed a bug causing food costs to incorrectly appear red
  • UI fixes to prevent windows from overlapping

Update is mostly good, but the training blessing is too expensive with 2 diamonds. It's hard to get diamonds. Any estimate on the alliance war update? When will this update be released?

Why did you remove my comments IronAngel? Once I had PMed you I expected better of you. My comments in this thread have not violated any of the terms of service and my questions are legitimate. Ill ask you again, why the disdain for the customer base? Since this game was launched everything has revolved around an anti consumer standpoint. Many people who have been playing this game would agree that constantly increasing costs for blessings, library research, build times, and resource costs, is moving in the wrong direction.

Take a look at this game from the player perspective. Once you do an in depth analysis, youll understand why this game needs a complete revision. What happened to providing a product with fair value? Its bad business to continually antagonize customers. Please do not erase my comments again. I'm only asking for this game to be rebalanced in favor of the player and not always the corporation.

I guess I'm not included in most people. Given the higher rate at which resources generate and the higher level to which they are available for raiding, how can costs for upgrades not go up in order to keep it challenging? When you are running a long race, the last mile is always harder and takes longer than the first. That's what separates the winner from the also-ran.

No, I guess you are not with most people. Would you like to see what most people have been saying about the ludicrous attitude of BHG and Nexon? Look no further than the official Dominations app page on Facebook.

Never have I seen a more disenfranchised group of people than the ones who have played this game. Many people have invested time and money into this product and walked away. How much frustration are people expected to handle in the long run?

I guess it was too much to hope for that the creators would decrease build times, buff units, or decrease resource costs. I predict continuous price increases with each future update.

Overall have to say it sounds good. The main things that need working on now are:

1. Medal System rebalancing
2. Force Close
3. Alliance Wars

will have to see how the AI has been improved before commenting on the AI.

I am happy with this update to some extent. Two issues I reported to CS are fixed: ios9 compatibility issue, and unreasonable house price increase as i bought starter pack but skipped building the house in EA and upgraded to IA directly. It gives me more confidence to in game CS.
Resource cost raise is accepted to some extent, otherwise the game will be less and less challenging after gaining higher level.

But I still hope there will be improvement in differentiate the different nations. It will be exciting to see more variety between nations.

When you say coming soon I hope it's within the next few days and not the next few weeks. =)

Looks good though. I think the balances are fair enough. I'll finally be able to use the animal and gathering blessing together again. That's a big plus.

It is a bit scary what with the long build times and the high build costs - what will they be in the Global Age? Just the thought alone is rather terrifying.

For someone who plays the game a decent amount (1-4 hours), I can't imagine how difficult progressing is for people who only play an hour or 2 a day.

I definitely think a blessing to decrease build time or build costs should be included - something that's super expensive but can be used to reduce building for one building perhaps. Just to make it more bearable when progressing.

I'm sure plenty of people are purchasing crowns, including myself, so releasing an update that caters to people who don't purchase crowns would be very thoughtful and is more than deserved.

I don't typically defend these guys, but don't forget time is doubled, so we are actually better off in terms of resources (less cider).

Agreed, Endril. The ai improvement was the no. 1 item for me. Just moving back a few updates would be great.

True it did double, but I rather spend more ciders than diamonds. I guess it makes it so less people can use it; on those who can obtain diamonds from raiding and getting 5 stars.

With raiders dumpstered, for lack of a better word, will the AI improvements be significant enough to make other options viable?
Overall, besides the many bug fixes, nothing here to look forward to :(. Longer training and build times, more expensive blessings and library techs.
I'll keep my fingers crossed this is only paving the way for a big huge update for alliance wars/alliance features and nation rebalance soon. I don't think I speak only for myself when I say this community needs something to look forward to right now.

My point is only that if you typically use 2 or more training blessings in a sitting, you may use the same amount of diamonds and half the cider for the same amount of time (relative to what the cost is now).
