Help your city prosper with 33% cheaper Farm, Storehouse, Caravan, Oil Well, and Temple upgrades during this limited time event!

Benjamin Banneker, born during slavery to free African-American parents, was a self-educated farmer, writer, mathematician, and astronomer who successfully predicted lunar and solar eclipses. He helped survey land for the new capital of the United States and corresponded with Thomas Jefferson, challenging him to ensure racial equality. Banneker is best known for the almanacs he published from 1792-1797 which contained a wide array of scientific and literary writings, including his own astronomical calculations. (Event lasts from 14:00 UTC 2/21 until 15:00 UTC 2/28.)

Unfortunately this is of no interest to me. I can't afford to keep my citizens that busy with this kind of stuff, I have a lot of upgrading to do with defenses, upgrades that take weeks to complete. My Greek unique joke of a bonus does nothing to help the situation. So, no, I'm not bothering with this stuff. If you'd make them needing 1-2 days to complete, perhaps I'd upgrade one farm/caravan/well or two.

Yep, sorry, but even after the 40% buff, resource production is still too low to prioritize workers to upgrade them. Those resources are still far easier to obtain from 1-2 battles per day.

I think wells are worth upgrading but my last one finishes later this week. Farms, caravans are useless when I already sit at maxed gold/food for days at a time waiting for workers as it is. This game really needs an exchange system of some sort, or an alliance bank, even if the ratios are astronomical it's better than seeing all this food/gold just disappear.

I think something like that will exist in the future that will turn food into oil. One of the buildings show in the livestream has not been released yet and looks like a bio fuel plant

upgrade your wells, people.
it will help you accumulate oil much more than defense upgrades.

but farm and camel upgrades.. they are good if you want to do a fast CWA but they’re inexpensive even without the discount so lol

Here's an interesting thought for you, guys: maybe you're getting enough of resources without farms/caravans BECAUSE of the increased production. What are the main sources of food in the game? Not exactly for you but in the game in general? War loot and victory chests give some income but still main contribution comes from farms on abandoned bases which are later robbed by you. So even if you personally don't upgrade farms, you still benefit from other people upgrading them, thus you get your little piece of cake from this "useless" event:)
