Barracks Troops

It the devs really wanted to bring Barracks Troops back into the action all they had to do was remove the Missile Silo & compensate us for the oil used. It was the Silo that killed off the Barrack Troops to easily that essentially made us all go to Factory Troops.

Missiles is a sign of natural progression so rather then removing it, it makes sense to improves existing troops to counter this.
Nerfing is an easy solution, coming up with counter-active options is more interesting.

Do not focus on the "natural" because there is nothing natural in this game! For example, this missile does not cause any damage to defense troops or buildings, is that natural?

Curious I've not encountered too much in the higher ages yet. But I've noticed in the few wars I've participated in that I struggle against vehicles (enlightenment age) are there barracks troops that can counter these?

I disagree with removing the silo. I exclusively use APC/Mortars as my main army and just wipe the silo as my opening move with my transports. It's just like using any other troop; identifying the biggest threats and eliminating them before they cause a problem.

How many Heavy Tankers see a Rocket Arsenal and blow it to smithereens before it can dump a load of tank killers? Same thing...except Barracks operators have to take car of an Arsenal and a Silo.

Consistently hit above my age and level with that.

What happened to barrack troop rebalance. They nerfed only good thing i.e Attack helicopter unreasonably.
R they doing any reworking??

Good question I have a really good museum for attack helicopter's and I feel like they're basically useless again

I hope they are looking at some rework. I made some suggestions in the ideas and features forum. Like other units, attack helicopters should have research/upgrade buffs that make them useful if a player put in the time and resources.

They aren’t. On 3D I five star high level offensive info age bases with Paras and AH. With my AH museum with 105 damage on AH it’s still possible to five star 3D bases, it only need exact execution.

Depends on the attacked base design. On 3O with AH museum mostly two helicopters TT (one of the ones with still range 7) plus 2 heavy vandals or impis), probably a recon TT also. On 3D recon, helis, sometimes one tank TT (with high hp). It works, definitely.

I had another thought. Factory troops are also better because of the damage buff from the Brandenburg gate. If BHG is serious about making barracks units useful, they should extend that benefit to barracks troops that cost oil.

well according to my experience 2 months before one guy 5 starred my base with totally and only AHs,but after the re-re-re "balance" when I watched the replays they only managed to get 1 star.
