Battery Usage issue

Devs, I enjoy the game and am interested to see where you all can take it, however I have noticed one non-game play issue... This game is a massive burden to my battery life. I can live stream music for hours and watch 3 hours of streaming video for the battery usage equivalent of 2 hours of game play... Over the last 7 days DN has used 71% of my battery life. Are you (Devs) working on power saving updates? I have attached an image of battery usage. I have an Iphone that is updated to the most recent IOS. I'm also curious if this is only an issue for me or if others have experienced a similar drain.

Love the game but I can't play for more than about 90 minutes on my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014. I can stream over 6 hours of videos. When I'm thinking - should I buy more crowns? I decide not to buy because my battery is drained and needs to be recharged. I would spend more money if I could play longer. Please fix this great game!!!

Depends on device I'm on the new Samsung galaxy s23 ultra as a tester like the s21 and the max battery life is 10 hours with battery saver and all enhanced features off when I turn off battery saver it's 6 hours but can be charged from. 15% to 100 in 27 mins .
My old device the moto edge plus had 36 hour battery life then 24 with all the bells and whistles on

As @Chadwicke said, surely the more modern the phone, the more features are packed in and working in the background?? I've noticed the newer my phone, the less overall battery charge and the more battery drain - without even playing games.
