So Today Big european match in Dominations!
Italiani 2017 vs Dutch warlords !
Dutch Warlords are not heavy sandbaggers, so this post is not about sandbagging! They have 2 medievals and an IA player. the rest are 21 AA and 1 global age player.
Italiani has 11 AA (3 of them fresh with global army)
And let's have a look at the average level!
Dutch warlords 21 atomic and global players are all above level 200 except 4 players that are between 189 and 198.
Dutch warlords Average level without last 3 players is 215.00
Italiani 2017 has only 3 players level 200+ and Average level without last 3 players is 176.9
This is a 38 level gap between the alliances.
Other fun fact is their number 21 is an atomic age player level 232 our n21 is a 139 IA player..so almost 100 levels of gap. DW n14 is a 246 player our n14 is 182 so 66 levels of gap
I can go on with every mirror. All or almost (we have a level 228 who's mirror is 230 and a 222 who's mirror is 202) have a gap level of at least 30.
I'm not complaining, i'm laughing about this.
We ALL know the fault of this is the fact that some AA buildings have 0 weight in wars. Buildings we don't have and they of course have. So is it DW's fault? NO.
This is a game problem that has to be fixed ASAP. Again i'll ask BHG and Nb4powerup to shut down the war system until this issue is fixed.
These are 2 days of game lost. For us, slowly losing interest in the game when such mismatches happen. And for Dw that will have to play a sensless and boring war vs an opponent that won't even scratch their bases.
So that's it, another fun story about war matching in the game!

Ps Quovatis sorry to tag you, i read an answer on another thread where you ask: do you complain about mismatches in your favor? My answer is YES, the few times we had a mismatch in our favor it was boring and totally senseless. We have a player from first dinasty kindly visiting us today, so you can ask him what's the life of a mid-weight alliance with the current game.

Nexon/BHG, WE DON'T WANT EASY MATCHES WE JUST WANT FAIR MATCHES, is it too much to ask?

When my team is fighting against a stronger alliance we see it like a test, like a challenge, like a way to improve our skill...

The more threads on this the better imo... We are all resilient constantly at the game bugs Nexon don't control. Nexon have a track record of ignoring game glitches and instead focusing on new content to get more P2W. The AA glitch is now coupled with manipulating the battle timer. Please Nexon fix these issues.

Precisely. Give that man a cigar, or a lollipop if you don't smoke! :)
Adversary is something to learn from, not complain about. Anyone can do well if things aren't hard.

Our Alliance doesn't like these lop sided match ups any more than anyone else but it's about attitude really. We see these as a challenge whether we win or lose, after all it's a GAME not life or death. There is plenty to be learned by defeats to make you stronger next time around. We are in a war now where we are heavily out matched but everyone will battle twice & who knows with the right strategy & a little luck we might just win it.
There is no way we would support turning off the wars, just get on with it guys.

I smoke so i'll go for a cigar thanks.
I'm sorry if i look like the guy always complaining. I probably am. But unless things change i'll keep doing this. We have nothing to learn today, i'm sorry.
We have been fighting mismatches for an year now,we were matched with a lot of leaderboard team, we also won and stalemated many of them.
Afterall, allow me to brag a litte, we are among the few alliances who got to the leaderboard without sandbagging, and without spending money on troop cards if that is not a result what is?
and again this is not a complaint. this is a picture of the current war environment. Many here don't understand probably because you are playing in those heavy teams and can't even imagine what's life for a middle weight alliance with current matchups. Please feel free to visit us today, even for 5 minutes. If you don't see that, you can't understand.
Even nb4 saw the match and admitted there is something to be done about matchmaking. Quickly.

Anyway this will be our last war in this alliance, we'll do another one and just play for fun. Many here will be happy to stop reading my complaints probably. this doesn't change the fact that this game is almost dead and unless some serious changes will be made soon, it's going to be always worst.

We (Allied Swedes) had the dutch a little while ago, didn't even bother, really. We did try when we had the warlords2 a week earlier, which has a little bit more of a fair match, but failed, so why try anything against an alliance with 77% solid atomic bases.

Wow. Those of you saying 'hard matches are how you learn' must not have much experience facing teams with an average level 40 higher than yours. Its the only explanation imo for those types of comments. I do agree with the sentiment that hard matches are how you learn for sure. But to me, a 'hard match' in our experiences is where we are out leveled by ~10 levels, or an easy match for us is one where we out level our opponents by ~10 levels. Before the AA weight glitch, this is what most all matches were set within. When you pass 20 levels, it puts the odds way out of whack...and then when there is a 30 level disparity it is pretty much insurmountable odds. 40 is just a joke.

Our team has never backed down from any match, ever. Even when we faced Korea Army, UA, DW, or other very very advanced teams with these 30-40+ level disparities. But, there is zero excuse for a matchmaking system that claims in any way to match people of relatively similar strength, to have a match like this. In later ages, since many people max offense as a priority, those level disparities are almost all in defense upgrades. There are about ~5 upgrades per level I'd say in later ages. Assuming one of those are economic, it is likely that a level advantage of 40 translates directly to a disparity of 160 building/researches on average in every single base. That is not a hard match, it is a terrible game experience, plain and simple. You might learn a new base design here and there. Or your heaviest atomics might be able to practice on a mega base. But that can be done in normal 'hard matches' that dont destroy the game experience.

Overall, there is nothing good that comes from these wars, it doesnt matter where we want to point the finger...to be honest this far down the road, it shouldnt be blamed on heavyweights needing to sandbag to get matches because none of their peers go in full weight, or on a team with huge atomics suffering from a glitch that lowers their war weight, or on a team just looking to climb the leaderboard in the most efficient way possible given the conditions BHG has created with PTW, or the fact that sandbagging is by far the most rewarded strategy in war. At the end of the day, it is 100% the fault of BHG, their inability to communicate, and their complete apathy to problems that have been building for the better part of a year. By being afraid to address any little part of the problem, it has made a disaster out of the war (and the game for many people) in its current state.

Which alliance are you in Htmk5? Maybe it is not an experience you share fighting at 40 level disadvantages. It is very different than a 'hard war' against an opponent that out levels you.

I hate complaining and several of these players can tell you I have said my peace. I haven't seen where there is a bunch of complaining on this thread. The wars are mostly lopsided and I have seen people lose confidence and leave alliances in the hopes to get on the leaderboard. I saw King Barbs statement that "its only a game not life and death." I agree it is only a game. However so is football, wrestling, basketball, soccer, etc... The guys/gals playing these games want fair competition and would not have played long if you had High School level kids vs Middle school level or Pro vs College. Lets be for real we all are a little competitive and this is OUR game. I don't believe in canceling wars and I don't have the answers. Nexon/BHG is paid and this is their way to make money so for them it is life or death so they should find a way to better matchmaking. Thx for hearing me out

Ahah. Do you think writing the same post 172 times is significant? This is boring, small thinking and pathetic

Man, I try hard not to get sucked into petty arguments. But for real, Wendy had a well formulated thought out post on a problem many of us are experiencing. It was done very 'matter of fact', and said nothing bad about their opponents, only requests for action from BHG. Then there is a post from you, adding zero value or discussion and with intent of insulting the original poster...not even debating the content of the post.

There is only one thing in this discussion between the two of you that is pathetic. Let me give you a hint, it is not Wendy or the original post...

Ju, Nb4 told me he used many times exacly what i wrote in his feedback reports. What can we say about your 513 posts written on a forum of a game you apparently find perfect? I'm here to talk about the game and the problem it has, what are you here for? making friends?
I bet you don't want the game to change so you can keep winning lame wars and consider yourself a little better than you actually are!

Your last comment is super revealing. You are turned on yourself only and don't listen. You continue to think all alliances using sandbags are doing so to manipulate the matchmaking... putting everyone in the same bucket. Very mature. All you do is talking about sandbagging, sandbagging,sandbagging... post after post. So yes I persist. You are mono threaded. Take that an insult if you want I don't give a fuck.

This last comment is super revealing! I am not talking about sandbagging at all! Ahaha juju please read at least before posting! No sandbagging is not the problem, not in this case, not for a long time for me. And I DO know not all teams sandbag for the same reason, if you say I'm mono threaded you should have read me saying this many time!! Lol man you really attacking me without even reading the original post? I'm talking about the BUG that makes the system don't recognize certain buildings, and considering a level 180 global age as heavy as a 230 AA. Sandbagging is about people and I can't change how people think or act, but this is a bug and I expect Nexon to fix it. So please, answer my question JuDomines: Once agreed this post is NOT about sandbagging, do you want bugs in the game to be fixed? I also wrote " is it DW fault? No"
