Replays attempt to recreate battles using a record of troop deployments and rallies. Often they fail to faithfully reproduce the original battle. The question is why?

In today's episode of "But That's Not The Way It Happened!", the battle and replay seem to match up at first glance. See if you can spot the differences and where it all starts to go awry.

At first glance seems reasonably compatible to me.
Not sure l would agree with the word awry.

Today’s episode is a nice demonstration of the most fundamental failure of a feature. Maybe they’d put more effort into fixing it if you showed a larger scale battle (unless you already did such, and I would need to look into your YouTube channel to get a look).

Except for a few siege units movement, the replay is accurate. I don’t consider it as a failure. It is almost the same way it happened.

I'd rather have the replay as it is than not. Serves to uncover trap locations , teach people, learn and catch hackers. I can live with a re-creation of the battle and not the actual replay knowing fully it is not 100% accurate and at times goes wrong.

I find most replays that are wrong have to do with the device used. So if you’re ios and get attacked by someone on android there’s a good chance the replay will be wrong

I guess my issue with replays is when they show my base being attacked by 8 - 15 Fighters ( and this number is repeated in the battle results). Very difficult for me to accept this is the result of Nexon’s AI gone bad...

It’s unfortunately very easy to get extra planes, with everyone blaming it on replay error they keep getting away with using it. But a lot of times extra planes are from them exploiting a bug in the game
