Cannot switch between two accounts on Android anymore

I disconnect from Google Play Games, then reconnect choosing another Google account. Usually a dialogue prompt comes up, asking to load the other account's base. But since the update it simply connects with the other account and keeps the base of my first account. Anyone have this issue as well?

It shows connected. I can "switch" the Google Play account, but it does not load the other base then or prompt to load the other base respectively. I tried reinstalling the app, clearing cache/data before uninstalling. Then I can load my second account on the very first start of the game by choosing the according account. When I then disconnect from Google Play Games and reconnect and then choose the other account, I get prompted to load the other base - but only once. After that, when I then try to switch, it stays at the current base, no matter which account I connect. The prompt to load the other base does not appear again as it used to before the game's last update. I checked connection status of Google Play Games as you've shown in the screenshot. It is indeed connected, but does not let me load the correct base.

How about trying to add your old account?
It might trigger to load that base first, then you can try to switch again (don't remove that account)

Have you tried to put your old account back though? It needs 2 or more accounts to trigger reloading. Add it through Google account setting. Then ingame click disconnect, then it click it again so it should be reloaded

Usually, when the game does not show the "Existing Account" prompt when loading an email account, this only means that the email account is not associated to any villages and the game will not do anything.

I have those Dominations accounts under different Google accounts and both were added in Android.

If I reinstall the app from scratch, I can choose from two email accounts. Villages are being loaded according to the associated email chosen. However, I can switch between the two accounts only one time.

Hm, I usually click that connect/disconnect button twice to trigger account switch. Not sure if it could work for you.

Anyways, try to download Multiple Accounts app. Add any of your accounts there.
