Purim Event 3/3 - 3/6
3/3 is the start of our Purim Event!
Purim is a Jewish holiday that celebrates the saving of the Jewish people from Haman, as recorded in the Book of Esther. The holiday gets its name from “purim”, the Hebrew word for “lots”, a reference to how Haman cast lots to select a date on which to execute his plot against the Jewish people. Purim is celebrated annually on the 14th day of the Hebrew month of Adar and is observed through four obligations: exchanging gifts of food and drink, donating charity to the poor, eating a celebratory meal, and listening to a public reading of the Book of Esther. During these readings, it is customary for the congregation to engage in noise-making when Haman’s name is said to symbolically blot out his name. In another reference to Haman, a traditional food eaten during Purim is hamantaschen, which translates to “Haman’s pockets”. Hamantaschen are triangular pastries traditionally filled with a fruit or poppy seed filling.

8th Anniversary Countdown Event
We can’t wait to show you what the 8th Anniversary Season has in store! So much so that our next event is DomiNations’ 8th Anniversary Countdown. This event is similar to Season of Allegiance and will give various boosts to Resources, Troop Bonuses, and Upgrade Discounts. We’ll be releasing the full preview for all to see on 3/6 in-game and the Bonuses will take effect on 3/9. But me? I want to give you an early look at what Bonuses you’ll be able to take advantage of for the Event next week! For a full breakdown be sure to check out the forums later this week!
