Clarification request for Friendly Challenges

Ive had trouble telling when and if coalitions and blessings are applied to friendly challenges. Is there any way we could get a description from BHG? Or, if anyone in the community knows that would be great too.

Here are some things Ive noticed

1) Coalitions seem to appear on replays if the base has coalitions activated and it is in a war. There is no coalition summary screen like there is in war, so Im almost doubtful they are being applied at all
2) I have never seen defensive coalition troops spawn in a friendly challenge
3) Stronghold troops seem to only spawn if a stronghold has been loaded on the war map. They also do not spawn when someone enters the spawn radius like in war, but rather only when stronghold has been destroyed
4) Ive seen blessings appear sometimes....but is it only when a home base is given as a challenge target?

Also, it seems like a new bug, but about 25% of the time, results are wildly inaccurate (like, a 5* will show as a 0* 25% loss). Not talking about replays being different, I mean the overall result itself.

Im a big fan of the friendly challenges, but this seems like the worst implementation of it yet in terms of how functional it is.

Coalitions aren't applied to friendly challenges. I wish they were so that I could use my full attack to test out the bases.

I'd tend to agree with you, but in previous versions of friendly challenges Im almost positive they were applied. And, if you watch replays of challenges against people with active war coalitions, they do show up.

Well I can only speak for offensive coalitions. I can easily tell that the perks are not being applied (and the coalition troops are also not available to deploy).

I agree with coalitions, offensive and defensive, should be applied to friendly challenges when posting/attacking a friendly challenge war base.
The other obvious thing would be to spawn alliance troops from the town center when posting war bases for friendly challenges. I think they might spawn from resource bases when posted.
Blessings seem to apply offensively when you attack a resource or war base but defensive blessings don't.

Applying defensive or offensive blessings to war base friendly challenges is not an acceptable solution.

The point of posting war bases is to test actual war scenarios and the current setup just doesn't accomplish that. When my two level six defensive coalitions don't get used when posting the war base it's impossible to actually have a real world test.

Seems to me the friendly challenge cannot tell a war layout from a town layout, why should any blessings be applied in a war setup? It's ridiculous. And the coalitions - it is unclear to us whether they are being applied both offensively and defensively, while there are not coalition troops, I am inclined to believe the offender do get the coalition buff.

and whatever our observations are and how they may be different it's irrelevant, the challenge is not what it should be, which is to be as true to the real thing as possible.

Friendly challenges should only cater to world wars unless Nexon wants to create a different tab for friendly attack on multiplayer. World wars friendly attacks means all the coalitions should be applied in the friendly attack.

Yes, friendly challenges are a great warm up for war attacks, so having the war base's donated troops defend, and having both offensive and defensive coalitions active would make them much more useful.

I was going to say that but then edited it to have more "political correctness"
