Colossus of Rhodes Event, Earned NTGs not counted

If your storehouse cannot hold any more NTGs and you earn some in battle, they do not count towards the current event. That severely reduces the amount of time available. In events where we had to earn resources, the battle earnings counted even if the storehouse was full. It would be nice if this event was the same.

workaround: form coalitions then cancel them and repeat to make room for ntgs. (and then open a bunch of ntg shipment crates)

Ate there no other way to spend ntg other than coalitions? I got tons of em because i do not join wars often.

This event was crazy easy to complete. Took less than 2 days to complete. As pckrn pointed out, you have to clear out your storehouse of ntgs by acquiring and canceling them. I got my ntgs and diamonds by 5 starring bases.

Yes, I worked that out, but on war days you are locked out from forming coalitions. My alliance wars continuously, so this is a real problem

Sure there's a workaround but it's lame and defeats the point that this limitation is lame; and that the logic is poorly implemented.

I'm stuck not able to complete this event also as we war constantly and I cant dump coals. Locked when in war and of course my storehouses are full.

My alliance also wars constantly. Even if your alliance wars back to back, there is always a “Planning Day” in between wars. A period of over 20 hours during which time you can add to and drop NTGs at will as long as you have the necessary stash of NTGs to do it. Sure, no one wants to just drop coalitions after they’ve formed them, but to say you can’t do it because your alliance wars constantly is inaccurate.

But what if you have an hour to play the game on a war day and your storehouse is full, even though you emptied it on planning day? This is a game, and having to plan ahead so much just sucks the fun out.

If you only have an hour a day to play the game then you should expect not to be able to complete the events. Sheesh... you want to barely play the game, not plan ahead and get all the rewards?

Epic Ninja Good advice. I used your method and completed the event within a few hours. I had tons of NTGs sitting around unopened since I started playing this game. Thanks for the tip.

This is so easy event for any age of players. I have completed this event by only 10 minutes. I am Space Age player. Yes 10 minutes only. Go to the inventory. Then resources, check you have enough Diamond or not?. I had 540 Diamond. I claimed diamond and convert them to oil. Not required to claim "National trade good shipment". Yes, if someone has not enough Diamond stock in inventory then u have to claim "Trade Good Shipment". And u know u can get as much trade goods as u claimed. Not depends on your Trade goods capacity...Sorry for my poor English.

This is a good workaround. When you open trade good/national trade good shipments, they add to your total even if you're full (going over the limit), so these will definitely count no matter what.

A good opportunity to use up some of those hundreds of shipments from daily videos.

That's not what I said. I have an hour to spend on the game right now. I had a couple of hours earlier, and will have another couple of hours later. It is annoying that any attacks I make now will be wasted as far as the event is concerned.

Yes there are other ways to complete the event, but if all my earned NTGs counted I would have finished it with attacks only. Right now I check my inventory before every search and skip/drop medals on any base nationality I don't need. I am keeping my resources under control, but it still annoys me when the bonus NTG is one that I am full on.

My classical players just had to pick up stored diamonds, blow them on mercs. Only 7 total required to complete the event. Getting 141 NTGs and diamonds was a little steep for me. Kudos to those who completed the event.
