Hi, official complaint. Under do I need to buy and event pass to complete an event? No. That is on here.

Funny every part of this current event is locked unless you pay over 30$ us for and event pass.

The money grab on this game is ruining it. I have been a member since almost day one, and I am considering quitting and deleting the game. Your greed is destroying the fun. It is turning into pay to play.

First event was good as we got an artifact that was worth something. Now it is pay to win and the goals are just boring. Yawn, also will not be participating until they change that up.

You don’t need to pay for the event. You get free rewards and free prices for the leaderboard as well.

in Addition you can pay to get MORE rewards.

At least you get more free stuff as in the old event system.

I agree. You do not need to buy that pass to get some rewards. The objectives are quite steep for a casual player like me (4-5h per week)

FWIW, I completed the event today (a) without the pass and (b) without doing all the free tasks. For example, I skipped all the grindy ones like build a bunch of Planes/HTs. I did nothing outside of normal dominations behavior.

Also I think people are complaining about the wrong things. Event complaints can be distilled to "I want more free stuff! And nobody should be able to buy stuff!" rather than simply accepting the free stuff. Or folks complain the event is impossible to complete before all event goals are revealed; so these complaints don't age well.

Are there legitimate things to complain passionately about? Yes. Crash bases, alliance gate perk 3, cheating, but not everything deserves a complaint. Nobody is forced to purchase event passes, especially the worst event pass we've ever had like this his current (Halloween) one. Simply skip the undesired event and move on.

The events are not just about getting rewards. They are also about having goals outside of simply growing your town and attacking others, which would get very boring over time. It's perfectly reasonable that they have a premium plan that offers greater rewards for paying players, however I'm of the opinion that completing daily events should be available to all players regardless of paying. I have already put money into this game, and I'd be willing to put more into it as well. The lack of greed I saw was one of the things that attracted me to the game when I started playing. But if you are going to make aspects of the game unplayable because they REQUIRE payment, then forget it and you might as well leave it out. I will refuse to participate as it seems more like blackmail to me than an in-game monetization mechanism.

If you want to say that you "completed" an event, simply because you "completed" each task you "wanted" to complete, then what do you need an event system for? Create your own goals if that's the case. For me however, the whole idea that you cant complete the daily event because one of the tasks requires you to pay is BS. This week especially. At least in prior events, only some of the days had that requirement, this week, all of them do.

And there are other dumb decisions in this event too. For example, today, the last day of the event, there is a task to complete 4 world war battles. Who the heck can do that in one day? Seems like they are just messing with us now. Not to mention there are tasks in there that can't be completed unless you are a certain age, like training commandos at the factory (assuming you actually have one).

I figure that they are still trying to determine out the best combination of rewards and pricing to incentivize people, and that's fine. But I'm not interested in paying the cost of a console game for a few rewards that I can obtain by other means.

Only bad attackers are complaining about crash bases. Good players complain about a not calculable bug in the program code which is causing crashes.

There are like 10 free awards given out for completing tasks not including the daily supply drops, where as the old completely free events offered only 5, 2 of which were food and gold.

A more realistic complaint would be comment on how the pass is over priced or that the theme of scoring points by unlocking artifacts and expeditions is designed to accommodate maybe the top 1% of the player base.

I dont know how someones brain can look at all those free cards and speedups and come to the conclusion that the only way to profit from this event is to pay money.

Leaderboards are a joke when there are a limited number of prizes and non-event pass buyers have no way of numerically out-performing event pass buyers on those leaderboards. Yes, in theory I can unlock artifacts for 50 event xp per unlock, as many times as I'm able. I'd have to do that 38 times just to keep up with the event pass buyer who gets 1900 xp for hunting 10 animals.

Yep, it’s pretty obvious that buying the pass was supposed to be an easy group leaderboard win if you were lower-age, since the ridiculous rewards for extremely easy tasks (2,000 XP for 2 expeditions launched paid, versus an earlier few hundred for 4 expeditions launched) make it impossible to lose if you do the simplest stuff. I would win by several thousand points if I had the pass—I’m in fifth place and down by only about 1,400 while missing 6-7,000 in XP, all from the paid-only events.

Meh. I don’t feel like paying for the overpriced pass, so I don’t get the extra rewards. At least I get more than I did from the regular weekly events, so there’s little to complain about in the long run.

I've no complains. I placed in the top 10 for the first time. I observed an industrial age sneaking into 10th place during the last 15 mins. That must have taken a lot of grinding. Anyway,I'm buying myself a long peace treaty. I promised not to touch this game for some time after this event. Too time consuming and I've observed some strange accounts ascending the leaderboard only to be removed afterwards. And because of this supplies buying event,I've almost maxed my war museum. Ok,enough of this digital nonsense,I'm off to the resort casino to chill on bacarrats.

These events are aimed at people who like to pay to get the better rewards or people who need to be the best. If you're the type who enjoys playing then be happy getting the free rewards (as domas said). There's no need to pay at a casual level of playing.

I don't know what all the fuss is about - I didn't buy the pass and still managed to come 9th in my group despite not being very active, winning 10 troop tactics and nearly 30 hours of speed-ups - much more than I would've got in the old events system. People who bought the pass must have won a sh*tload of stuff

I have a complaint. I finished 5th in my group (did not buy a pass) and I did NOT receive any group or global rewards. That is bull,

Players in my alliance, who PAID for the event, have also not received the Group Rewards. I’m hoping it will be addressed on Monday...

I've received my Tut mask for global event but not the apothecary for group event. Guess it's some kind of glitch somewhere in the bowels of their servers.
