with latest update the game is not worth playing anymore .even with cards it is difficult .nexon has not given us any improvement in attack except buy cards and even then if its not 7 ea as mercs and 4 ea card most bases will be hard to even 3 star .what a mix up NEXON .

Nexon and BHG have some shame when u rollout these new updates under the name of making game more balanced - it is NOT.

The game was perfect when there were no cards and all attacks / defence was on pure skill. Cards were introduced in attack causing apparent imbalance (as per Nexon) and to fix that more stuff up - STRONGHOLD.

This was not enough when the developers thought of reducing tactics and then introducing SILO. And to top it up Generals spawning after castle destruction.

As highlighted above attacker has to use 7 EA and 4 EA cards to take out a maxed atomic base which has sh troops loaded.

If there is anyone within Nexon or in this gaming community who can knock out a maxed atomic base having Silo whose sh is loaded with EA, I will take my allegations back.

The community complained that offense was too strong so the devs added things to add more of a challenge. Now the community complains that defence is too strong. Blame the community.... not the devs.

The community did not say offense was too strong, at least not the community I was part of. The big spenders might have complained that their defenses were too weak.

But if the devs want to listen to the big spenders and drive everyone else away, I think blaming the devs is fair.

make attacking troops more available eg. decrease engineer to troop space 2,bazooka to 2 ,and useless saboteur to zero...lol.

I think the updates are challanging. Though I am still unable to get 5 stars because of it.
I'll try to adapt for while and see wether I can get 5 stars against those

Not sure if Wikia provided the correct number, it suggested that from GA to AA, All defensive building like Towers / Mortar etc gain 30%HP and 30%DPS.

It is ridiculous. And you will find maxed AA base is extremely difficult compare with maxed GA one

Simple. Everyone is complaining about WW stalemate; this is good way to counter easy 5*/ stalemate issue. Hope they wl introduce more tough defensive buildings and then ppl wl need to focus to max star and destruction before thinking of time collapsed

I think defense should be upped even more. Most ppl must struggle between 1 and 2 stars. Comlaining about no be able to easily take **5** stars is ridiculous.

Before such statement, i would be really nice from you to write , are you talking about MP or WW 5☆ attacks, what age you are (in game not how old are you 😀), how high with medals, do you play WW every 2 days with full coalitions?
Then we can continue debating...

all changes will be oposed by 50% of playerbase thats the law ^^. I guess many players are also spoiled by easy victories, their strategy the used over and over and over again not working anymore and now they have to think about how to adapt etc.

fact is: the challenging thing with attacking was the stupid AI nothing more. did bgh do a step to far, perhaps, but we should give the changes some time and devs are balancing already anyway.

Whos to say you should have full coalitions for every war?
Where is the skill or strategy in having full coalitions for every war?
It should be difficult to collect NTG's making deploying offensive and defensive coalitions costly and hence a actual strategic choice to use them.

Shouldn't it be hard to collect NTG's and hence making deploying coalitions a actual strategic decision rather than a default just to boost stats.
It seems to be majority of people of having full coalitions for every war makes having them at all useless, it be the same as if they just removed them altogether.

This is an attacking game. It was advertised as such when it first came out. Why shouldn't we complain that defence is so ridiculously emphasized?
l agree that we should always try new strategies and adapt and overcome but you shouldn't have to buy strong troops to win.
You should be able to win challenging bases with your regular troops, your ingenuity and sometimes a little luck. :)

All I know is ever since I built that silo, defense log replays have been extremely fun to watch. It's usually quiet except the occasional brave kamikaze soul who sacrifices his army for 1 star.

Some ppl think they are ingeniuos. Thats patched. Now they are not.

Being serious. Maxed out defence in this game require much more dedication, resources and time then maxed out offense. So why does offensive power of the equal age must be superior to defence? It is dead brain logic. Not being able penetrate maxed out AA base is FAIR.

TizJourney, I agree with your reasoning, but the problem is that defense no longer needs to be maxed out to overpower offense. I'm an early-Atomic player with no defensive structures upgraded past Industrial Age (except the silo). I did max out everything in Industrial, but I rushed 2 ages during the Summer of Ages event. The only thing my base has going for it is well-planned layout. Late-stage Atomic players who are in theory stronger than me are struggling with my base. They're effectively being overpowered by a player 2 ages under them.
