Personally more than P2W, I'd like to see them buckle down and do something about cheating as everyday it becomes more obvious how many people are hacking the game. You would think that they would start crushing those accounts. I don't understand the punishment of rolling them back. That being said, I agree very much that if there weren't people that spent money on the game, there would be no free game for us that choose not to. While there may be other ways for them to get revenue, I don't foresee that happening. I think the P2W issue is really dependent on how the individual plays the game. If the sole reason you play the game is to go to war (Like me) than you will definitely notice more P2W (Possibly hacking, oh those damn hackers) enemies but that's just normal at this point, especially the higher up the glory ladder you climb. I have many high level alliance members that have never been in war and are happy with just the MP aspect. These players don't really feel the harsh burn of P2W. Sure you get raided by them but you get raided by everyone.

Whatever way they go about it or however we players feel about it, it's their game and they have to be paid. The only way to protest is to stop playing. I know a lot of people that quit and perhaps that's why they have upped their game in trying to get people to buy more things. But honestly, those particular people quit because the game refused to do anything about the obvious cheaters even with solid proof.

I really don't understand why folks throw $$$ at a downloadable mobile game that offers no tangible benefits from doing so. Am i missing something here? Hard for me to understand why they do it.
True G, it’s like seeing a nice pair of shoes that you don’t necessarily need but you buy it anyway. Why? Because it’s a ‘’want’’, a little conceit that makes you feel good. The money is not a huge amount and in the grand scheme you won’t miss it.
No harm done and everyone is happy.
People get their little ‘conceits’ in many different ways. Some people like a fully upgraded virtual village to come home to. :D

Yes they are fed a nice healthy diet of the rest of that base and the defenders that go along with it. Nothing like having 6 EA (ok 5... the 6th on proved to be loyal) at your disposal for the price of 2 betrays. They eat level 50 generals a light snack.

That is absolutely extraordinary.

Why do you think they don't fix cheating? How do you beat a team that has a full SH loaded with EAs? You go right ahead and buy 4 EA card armies to counter them! Cheating encourages people to buy more to counter it and the circle just repeats itself. It's been an issue for years, so just accept it's never going to be resolved.

Manifesto People do like random little things. That is why I think their revenue stream should add more cosmetic changes available for money. The rest of us wouldn't be harmed, it isn't pay to win at all, but people could redecorate to their heart's content.

It has entertainment value. My husband and I just went to see Avengers and paid $30 for a couple hours worth of entertainment. If we would have spent it on the game it would have lasted a lot longer, made our bases better to give us even more entertainment.

Yes, that's a theme in other posts too and I encourage this. This game needs distractions from itself. :D

What about people that got unlimited cards from a recent chest glitch?
You've seen the pictures with 1100 EAs or 1000 tanks, what can Nexon do about that?

EAs weren't included in the unlimited card glitch. But what can Nexon do about the 1000s of EAs? Simple: nerf them so they aren't 10x better than any other card. Everything would instantly be more balanced if other cards were comparable.

Seems you forgot what's P2W maybe due to youre taking the advantage?!
It' funny to me how people change their minds and ignore facts when themselves benefit from!

I was suggesting a revenue stream that would explicitly NOT be P2W - the sale of minor cosmetic enhancements to a town, to change how it looks / add decorations, anything else that would be visual only and not functional.

I firmly believe the sale of EAs, bazookas, and other much stronger cards than you can get for free, is P2W. But even if I didn't, this was a sidebar response to a post from manifesto. No need to get personal.
