• Goodbye 8th Year Event Goals Fix
A fix is now live. An additional goal, Earn 5 Stars, has been added. Completing this will grant the additional 500 RP to complete the reward track.

Events are too easy, claim period too long

Title pretty much explains this post basically.
Maybe Ive been playing too long and know the tricks, or maybe I play too much (I dont think so now).. but the events are really easy. Nearly every time theres days left before it finishes and then a too longer claim period. Be good if you could lessen the claim time no?

Go Atomic.

Personally, I'd make more difficult for the lower ages, change it so it has to be completed in 6 days with a single claim day, change it so there's one event per week add an option to auto complete the event for $25. They could then remove the troop sales...

I find it nice as it is. Should not be that hard that it drives players angry. It's just a bonus for regular looting regularly and get a supply of tactic troops that are not available in game :) So let it be!

I'd agree on the claim period, but not the event itself. Current event ends tomorrow and I've only destroyed 484/750 army buildings for the hanger, so I have alot of grinding to do tonight.

Thinking about it, as you can now store buildings in your inventory, they can do away with the claim period altogether. As soon as you reach the reward threshold, the reward goes to your inventory. Gold/ Food could also go to your inventory, just like the Gold/ Food shipments you get from alliance gifts.

That allows them to do back to back 7 day events.

Good point, but I like being able to float the gold/food for a few days until I am ready to use it. Otherwise, it just gets stolen.

The gold/ food would go under the Resources tab in your inventory, it couldn't be stolen. When you have bad luck and get Gold/ Food from opening an alliance gift, Gold/ Food goes there as a 'Shipment'. So why not send the Gold/ Food from events there too? It can be pretty annoying when you can't claim the Gold/ Food from an event because your storage is full.

I agree with all the comments. I would like to see an event every week, so I can keep my stronghold well stocked. Sebquattro's idea of automatically moving rewards to inventory is very good.
