Extra Generals = Temporary Ban?

Im currently going to message cs and I don't know if they tell you specifically but I was raiding last night. Nothing unusual but I had a weird case which I didn't know was a thing until I read that there was already a post about it in the Bugs section. It was after war and I used the instant retrain. I usually add a general after the fact before using instant so that removes the general section. I also add another merc before hand because I don't want to instant retrain them. I just use the instant for troops and tactics. Not sure why I do that but I've been doing in a while so I was used to it. This time around I had 4 generals. I didn't know what to do and I tried to delete them from the troop bar but that just crashed the game and I came back and deleted them eventually. Went to sleep and came back several hours later to find that I was 3 days banned for suspicious activity. Has this happened to anyone else? I know other people have seen it happen but they did also get a temp ban? I recently figured out that I've been playing for 3 years. That just adds to the frustration of this message popping up. 249 CWA and at the very least it's going to make my alliance lose the war because I can't make my attacks.

UPDATE: I've logged into the game using my sand bag alt just to see and my base isn't my base anymore. I've attacked this generic base before many times on raids. It added coals to my war base that I didn't even add on before war started.

Omg, so sorry to hear 😳
It's been a known issue since last update, you shouldn't have been banned (ideally) for having that glitch, not that you violated it 😐 but yeah I heard several were banned too though not sure if their bases were replaced.
I guess when the accounts were investigated we'd never known if it was an act of game violation, or just accidental. Oh well 😐

For those who accidentally activate more than 3 generals:

Don't click Fort cause the game will shut. Don't try to remove them through troop selection either.
The best is go to Campaign and drop all extra generals there.

It’s like the issue with the extra stags thought I never did that one. Good advice. It’s not good though there’s some comfort in knowing I’m not the only one. But yeah frustrating my base is now a 233 British base which I’ve never been British. Only ever been Japanese, Korean, and currently German.

they don't have a system in place to detect having 30 workers or having 2 rocket arsenals, but they have a system to automatically detect and ban having 4 generals?

and why call it a 3 day temp ban if they turn your base into a dummy base? that's a permanent ban. or will the base turn back to normal after 3 days?

and why hasn't TinSoldier replied to this thread when he has replied to another one 2 hours after this thread was made? (and even in that thread he replied to say a bug isn't a bug because there's a workaround)

this is not acceptable. TinSoldier can you pls have a look at this? If CS did revert his base to the default base with XP loss, then this is not good practice.

This is exactly what I was talking about in the Discord group. This bug can absolutely happen without even noticing it (or at least out of your control), especially on defense (on offense you do choose to deploy them or not, obviously); so not everyone who "uses" this glitch does so on purpose. And yet they ban all who do? No words. An absolute shame and disgrace.

Now I'm thinking one of our good players getting banned had to be the same case. Reverted base, different (even bugged) nation (said British on his info screen, Japanese when you view base). They probably have a default base for every couple of levels that they just copy paste over. This is evil and I would seriously consider filing big complaints if I were one of those unlucky players. Even a lawsuit, if you were a big spender. There's just no arguments for them around this...

They leave glitches unattended for months or even years, but ban players for using them on, OR not on purpose. This truly has to be the most ignorant and evil gaming company I've seen to date. What a shame for this beautiful game to be handled by these fools. After this incident I won't have any more expectations...

Aren't we forgetting Daily videos from about 6 months ago? Some were able to watch unlimited videos throughout the day.

Not our fault yet people got banned for "exploiting"

Same thing happening here.

If it’s that rollback then you are in a world of pain. All your uni has been wiped out, your museum is gone. Your account is effectively unusable. Others have received this before (and admitted to cheating, for example abusing the museum blueprint bug) and managed to get reinstated.

They cannot detect every building being upgraded at the same time. The system can't see that the players that are highest level in the game have only been playing for a few months and I HIGHLY doubt they jumped and decided that they're going to spend thousands upon thousands of dollars. Let me just buy an estate so that get off my back. Is that it? I have not spent a penny on the game but I've always enjoyed it for the most part but is it because of that?

There has always been a lack of clarity on the actions taken on cheaters. All we have are the anecdotal postings of people who think they know why something may/may not have happened to them. BHGs policy of deliberate lack of communication (not just on cheating either) means you are completely guessing. Hopefully it’s all ok after the 3 days, but come back and tell us what exactly happened to you?

Will update for sure. If it turns out poorly than I'm done with the game. There's not way to get back the years of time invested. Not that the game with miss my non-paying azz.

Are you talking about this post from Tin?
TinSoldier8 said:
Not a bug, the Night Witches are just a special case! (again.)

Other hangars (B-17, C119, and Nato Hangars) allow you to train planes on demand, and in order to do so, guarantee an extra space in your plane limit. Since the Night Witches are only available once every 8 hours, the rules change slightly to make sure you don't miss the chance to add them to your army and throw off the cadence of their availability.

For example:

Your Night Witch Hangar has a plane ready to claim. If you have fewer than your max number of planes, this Night Witch counts towards your total number of planes.
However - if you have trained as many planes as you can, and then claim the available Night Witch tactic, it will briefly allow you to increase your hangar space by +1 to fit that new Night Witch. This allows the countdown clock to begin again so the next Night Witch can be available in 8 hours.

TL;DR
Train all your planes, then claim the extra Night Witch for maximum air superiority.

Sorry but this is not right. He says the hangar 'guarantees' an extra space but then he says it briefly allows you to increase the planes ONLY if you have all regular planes already trained. This doesn't make sense. If it guarantees a space then it should always guarantee an extra space like other offensive buildings.
eg If I have an assassin fortress I get 5 extra spaces for the duration of the building
This is BS. Like what was done to sileepuppee

Sorry about how I phrased that. I was referring to Tinsoldier's post as being 'not right'. What Tin said doesn't make sense.
To put it another way I was agreeing with you. :)

There is indeed something strange with the general retrain. In some case, I kept my general after an attack, and the game allows me to instant retrain the general for no cost. The general is still active so there is no reason to retrain.

I never added a general before I instant retrain, but knowing the bug, I will certainly don't do it.

sileepuppee I hope that you get your base back after 3 days.

I also have same issue here, i want to know if my base will back to normal after 3 days if not im quit this game. Current base is 28 level lower than mine and my nation is british not Japanese. Even the layout also changed. This is like leaving food on table then beat kids for eating them.
