Just curious if any free to play members got any war councilors above the “ common” level without spending crowns? So fat I just have 1 uncommon card, everything else are ”common” cards, with the overwhelming majority having a 1% boost to miners, a barrack troop I stopped using in the medieval age.

yes, I recieved over 30 uncommon cards for both main hall and war hall. Just recieved a rare card for the first time today. These were all free to play but yeah the fusion is hot garbage

I’ve gotten a few uncommon, but mostly they are common. Fusion only serves to get rid of clutter for me, and rarely gives anything above another common card.

I've not had too many higher than common on my councilor pulls, but I do have uncommons. The drops are SUPER small for anything higher but it is possible. I'm hoping that eventually the fusion helps bump things up to higher tiers, kind of like how genshin impact improves duplicate drops on characters.

Agreed, rates on these are the worst.

I've gotten 2 rares, one from fusion, one from a pull, a moderate pull on uncommon, and a whole boatload of commons.

The fusion irritates me greatly. Nearly every other game, to the point I can't pull one from the top of my head, that has both fusion and tier mechanics has the fused card automatically advance a tier. I would rather toss some more cards into the pot if it got me the next tier, instead of a well known crapshoot

The fact that this does not do that feels like a bit of a slap in the face from the developer. We know they try to get every bit of money out of it they can, and the game is still very playable...and winable...without putting money in, but sometimes they take it a bit too far

All my counsellor's places are full, and I have no chance to replace them with better cards. I get cards, I fuse cards together, I get the same cards, I fuse again. 100% boring and no change to the game as I have the same counsellors for weeks!
At this speed, I will keep the same combination for 1 year.

I have gotten 2 rare and maybe 10-15 uncommon. The majority is common. But that seems like the correct outcome? Most games I've played with this type of card fusion make it very difficult and laborious to get the good stuff.

I absolutely DESPISE this council addition And the drop rates assigned to this crap. Max of 3 cards I can buy with food a day... and they are almost ALL uncommon. Then you have the fusion but the fusion chance is the same damn thing.

At a minimum, add a 10:1 or 20:1, whatever fusion rate for a guaranteed "upgrade" in level... Or let me increase my chances by fusing MORE together at once.

Something -- anything other than this complete BS.

Adding new branch to library research just for council might be useful. Actual ratios for better council cards are nonsense. Crafting 10+ cards same level should automatically guarantee next level quality card. More fusion a day for food are welcomed after barrack troops upgrade all my food is useless and wasted.

No matter if they improve it (which is possible), personally I am disgusted by the very idea of fusion councilors, it is primitive to the point of nausea.. it has no place in this game. They must to use another mechanism to improve the councilor, for example, applying a random feature card to the selected councilor..

The addition of the councillors building is one more step in the wrong direction and I hope it doesn't lead to puzzle-solving at some point like that Evony game ... unless solving the puzzle actually gave you a worthwhile councillor.

Man alive, I hope they don't do that.

I honestly don't mind the Council, fusion notwithstanding, but would have preferred less DPS/HP increases and more of the oddball items, such as movement speed/recon percentage/attack speed/etc. That would have made it feel more like the personages present were actually giving council to you and your troops.

The abilities should also match up to the Councilor. Alfred Nobel gave us dynamite, so why isn't he giving some boost to Commandos? What does he have to do spy planes? Love the attack speed increase Cleopatra gives to my Infantry, but why is it on her?

And I can't, well I can, believe they didn't have a single one that knocked off some build or research times. Perfect opportunity to do so and would have generated a lot more buzz and less irritation from the player base.
