As far as I can see, there no global chat in this game. I see "friends", so I suspect there is friends chat, in addition to the Alliance chat (I really hope so). Rhetorical question: How do you make in-game friends without global chat? As far as I can tell, the only place where all players can meet is in these forums. God bless those players not banished to the "test" forums (see pic).

There is no “friends chat”. The tab you’re referring to is used to connect game centre friends on ios and whatever the android equivalent is. It doesn’t allow you to communicate with that person in any way; and is somewhat pointless. As far as a global chat, I believe that’s been requested many times over the years, but when other games like CoC ditch global chat, you gotta ask the question why.

Thanks for that. I've registered for that and downloaded the app. That looks to be to be a 3rd party chat app, most likely for multiple uses, not only DomiNations or BHG. That's something, I appreciate it. These are my first impression guesses - I really didn't do much poking around in there yet, I'll check the details later.

I haven't been quite into it personally since I ran my own game servers 6 or 7 years back now, but there was a known exploit for some global chats. I'm not going to go into details for obvious reasons, but it really sucked. I would have thought that by now the devs would have figured out a better way to to do globals chat, without that exploit. Perhaps it's just easier to not have it in-game and leave it to 3rd party apps. My only concern with Sandbox, is wondering it does (still if ever) have that exploit in their app. I'll have to do some googling on the current state of affairs with that exploit and Sandbox itself.

I would like to know, does everyone see the word "test" (just below "Community" on my screen, see screenie in op), or is it just me?
