We are updating several components with Google Play Services to fix increased crashes for Android users in a hotfix expected later this week. As a result, most Android users will have their game account automatically linked to their default Google Play account, and the Google Play disconnect button will no longer be available in the DomiNations Settings window.

For those who require access to multiple Google accounts through Google Play, there is an option to select a chosen account upon opening the game. Instructions to set up this functionality can be found here: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/14754238?hl=en

Please note: This does not affect Android users in Asia that are using a separate build of the game.

Are you serious? Either this is extremely poorly described or extremely poorly thought out.
My standard account is really none of your business! I have separate Decoy Google accounts just for Domi, since you guys share my full name, email, profile pic, etc with every player I attack.
I monitor my network traffic. If you touch my default account you will be facing a lawsuit!

You're implementing something hoping to make our gameplay experience better by making it more cumbersome before we even start. Oh well, kudos for trying I guess ....

Thanks very much for this update. Now we gamers in India do not have to click on the CONNECT to Google Play Games button on the Games settings, every ten or twenty minutes while playing the game, afraid of losing the Game progress !!

Thanks for this Link also, which helped New Users like myself to Register for Dominations ID. and have got a New User Name, following this link via the Dominations Game's Inbox.

I can't access the settings indicated in the guide you sent. I hope they find another, more practical way, otherwise I'll get tired and abandon the game. I currently have 4 accounts.

Здравствуйте. Как вы пришли к выводу о том, что эта новая функция сделает меньше каких-то сбоев? Вы наоборот усложните игру многим игрокам с двумя и более аккаунтами. Я играю в эту игру 7 лет и впервые решил зарегистрироваться на вашем форуме из-за этого совсем негативного нововведения. Перестаньте добавлять новые функции, тем более не нужные большинству игроков, пока не исправите старые проблемы. Займитесь уже наконец исправлением неверных повторов битв, хотя бы для мировой войны, сделаете нормальную работу просьб ускорения альянса для университета, почините "исчезающие" войска альянса которые мы просим, исправьте неверную работу музейных слотов которые вы недавно добавили в игру.

From what I am reading into this is at the moment if you log into your game, go to settings you will have the choice for it to connect/disconnect from play store. They are removing that so you will always be connected. Is this correct @TheWise

The default here means that it will be the last Google account used to log in; if no Google account was logged in then it will be your designated primary Google Account. We do not keep a record of your Google account. You can opt out of logging into a Google account altogether by closing the account selection popup from Google if you're not already logged in. Even when you aren't logged in you will still be able to play with the last account that was loaded on the device.

You will still have the option to disconnect through Google Play game app settings; this just won't be done in-game anymore. You can also still manually connect your account if you decide to opt out of the initial Google Play login.

This change was brought about because Google introduced something in their security patch that increased the number of crashes that we were seeing.
