Training unique troops to win rewards is ... odd? Since one troop does not an army make. Tank nations probably have it the worst, but no, I am not going to switch nations just for this. Love the Janissary though.

My strategy is to throw down a training blessing and use my tanks to snipe exposed town centers to gain some medals.

What strategies are you using with your unique troop to complete this event?

im german, so ive got infantry. easy cheap and fast to use for raiding/medal dropping. should make some wall progress this week ;p

Actually tanks count as 10 troop space for the event, so it is not tougher.

Unless you meant tanks are useless thus they have it tougher.
Either way this event is easy, spend some food discarding troops and a training blessing or two, done.

french nation here but handicapped by 2 barracks having just gone CWA ....

my tanks are 10s less efficient by time than infantry, but it's easier to discard them without making a game.
perhaps the easiest event, even with 2 barracks no problem.

Same here. I raid with my grunts so this should be an easy one.

You only need to train the troops. You can just delete them from your barracks and train them again, or you can spam them on the single player maps if you want.

Probably the event that makes me look like the poorest attacker, whatever I must train all my ARL's and ridiculously attack exposed town centers and full oil refineries! I'm just glad they can resist long enough before they die
I also choose to donate tanks only.

Dvicious Lol yeah, you're still luckier though, and those with infantry special troops, will finish this event faster.
Tanks attacking oil wells/refineries is the most ridiculous thing you'll ever see

No Angel I train up 14 ARLs and rally them onto oil Refinery then drop a Decoy near it to activate all the traps and mines. BOOM!!!!

What do you think I do this for 2.000 Oil in a random base? No, Only when it's called for then I drop a Decoy.
