Ive level 183 IA (nearly 184) hows Global? You GA guys get shredded by many above you? I dont get fully attacked much, its getting boring, maybe I should move on up?? What do you think?

Depending on your offences and necessary defensive buildings you might just be ready for Atomic Age. Since CWA are able to hit Global Age, smart thing would be going straight up to Atomic.

I don’t know if going straight to aa is a good idea. Your troops and defenses are going to be way under power for quite some time. I’d just enjoy each age max out the troops and offensive then defensive as well as the museum perks, especially the artifacts. You get more supplies at lower ages once you get to aa or cwa you get very little supplies and more of researchers and benefactors.

i just moved to atomic at 150 XP during the rush. The attacks are not all that bad.

IA 172 moved to GA. waw..do I get attacked non stop by high-level hitters AA + CWA. As IA 172, I got 1 attack per day max, no I am under piece treaty the whole time. Piece & Love non stop...

Having the silo definitely improved the situation, but I really need to buff my defenses as lvl172 is a bit low for GA if you ask me. I see some poor 130-140 as GA...

Maxing your base is not the favorite strategy anymore after the rebalance...

defense means little. think about your attacking capabilities. if you can farm industrial bases, you can go to global. if you can farm global bases, you can go to cold war.

You must not have much oil...if I saw a level 150 AA base with oil, I'd almost fall over myself trying to press the attack button.

I have been at similar position being 222 LVL Atomic, but decided to advance to CWA in order to take advantage of the Winter Events. I'm fully aware of what that could mean (less easy targets, being widely raided by the top folks), but I wouldn't wait any longer.

Definitely upgrade to Global then to Atomic! Yes upgrade your silo asap! The attacking power of better troops makes the game way more fun. Also I would add that once you have armory, factory, and 1 tank depot / 1 garrison / 1 bunker maxed ( for increased forest and building defender levels) you should focus on towers and SAMs b/c they can shoot down planes. Trust me once I maxed out my green lv11 towers people definitely reconsidered attacking my base. Nothing quite like having a bunch of 709 dps towers shooting at peoples fighters ( can't wait for my yellow lv12 850 dps towers!!!)

do you actually get less easy targets? because im pretty sure an AA and a CWA is supposed to have the exact same set of targets

GA is still an easy age to get rss from so it's not too bad provided you actually maxed your troops offensively. Too many people get to high levels by maxing defense and rss buildings but they neglect working on troops like airplanes and such which is a real shame. It is true that defenses are important but being able to attack is much more important. It isn't just the maxing defense but using a good layout or at least a maze like one and that makes people think twice. But I think you should've poised this questions like a month ago. To let the rush events pass you by just added on an extra month + of building alone as well as research time.

Just wanted to reinforce the strategy to upgrade troops before defenses. I think the number one reason is that you will always get raided - no matter how strong your base defense becomes. But with strong troops you can greatly increase your options to raid other bases.

Some of you guys are giving terrible advice, yes upgrade to global asap, but make sure you get your planes/factory troops upgraded and the first half of amelia before you get to atomic. Getting oil is freaking easy in in global, you get 2000 for 5 staring globals like 4k(?)for taking atomics. Id go after a rushed base ahead of me and walk away with 10k oil sometimes. If you rush too fast you'll miss out on the vastly easy farming.

on a side note I wouldn't mess around with defenses apart from a silo, I'd focus solely on offense

You're absolutely right. But I'm not counting on that being continued. I fear that some time (perhaps after the release of the Space Age, who knows?) CWA might only be able to attack AA, CWA and Space Age players, as it should be
