now the below link provide player information
www.dominations.pl

We have players distribution as below
CWA 7,800
AA 62,000
GLA 69,000
IA 121,000
EA 110,000
GA 130,000
Medi 220,000
Classic 310,000
Iron or below 260,000

Which means
1. 60% of accounts are lower than Gunpowder, in other word, either stop playing with in 1 month, or sandbag
2. less than 11% of accounts are Global or later, in other word, around 90% players give up in their first year.

There is no good source for active players, if we assume 2/3 of global base and 1/2 of atomic base are dead, it give us a active player pool around 60,000 accounts.

The number could perfectly explain why CWA are allow to attack GLA. and perfectly explained recent re-structuring.

There is more number about Whales

Level Count
270+ 271
265-269 144
260-264 208
255-259 256
250-254 368
245-249 582
240-244 790
235-239 1226
230-234 1933

Roughly speaking, if you started playing at the year 2015, you will reach level 230.

There are 5778 players above lv 230, according the link, about 10-15% of them are suspected accounts.

let's assume players over level 260 are heavy spender, there are 623, remove those suspected account, it is around 550
and assume players between 240 - 259 are medium player, there are 1996, remove those suspected account, it is around 1800

And the number should tell you how small the paying player base,

Your reasoning is faulty. I know GA and EA players who have been playing for 6+ months and are still plugging away. We see new Irons, Classicals, and Medievals join our training alliance every day, so new players are still coming in. And I have no idea why you'd assume that 2/3 of globals and 1/2 of atomics are inactive. Easily better than half I see are still quite active; those who have more invested in the game are far less likely to leave.

I'm 100% certain you're lowballing the numbers by a very large margin, though only Nexon knows how many are truly active.

Yes, a lot of assumptions.
Would be nice to get some facts once in a while.

With such a database it would be easy to find out how many active players we have: compare levels of all players against their levels in about 2-3 weeks. If they increase, player is active, if not, player is most likely inactive.

For higher levels, it can take more than 2-3 weeks to gain a level. Since many single upgrades take two weeks in CWA. But in principle with appropriate time scaling, that would be a very good idea.

Regardless of your assumptions about activity levels - less than 8k CWA, and less than 70k each of global and atomic; this is now a fairly niche game with a relatively small number of high activity players.

Based on my raiding history, I think at least half of the global bases out there are dead. Not a formal diagnosis, but definitely there. And we have lost two atomics in the last month, 180 and 200 range. Not moved to a different alliance - just took a break, and then didn't come back. Both inactive more than 30 days now. Another at 218 has just stopped playing, he logs in and says hi and donates troops occasionally though. There are lots of dead atomic accounts out there.

8k CWA bases seems reasonable to me. I frequently see the same players in multiplayer, and the number of alliances with CWA-majority players is pretty small.

I don't think the Polish database numbers on individual players include dead accounts; I've searched for a few bases from past alliance members who have left the game, they didn't appear (and the database itself only contains info on about 1.3 million players, with something like 30 million actual game accounts in existence).

I think Nexon needs to make moving up easier for all levels other than CW, I've been playing for 3 years or so and in AA right now. if you don't raid constantly it becomes very time consuming to collect resources to upgrade and then even longer for the upgrade sequence. And oil items like planes, ouch. Its all becoming too much of a grind and no fun.

This appears to be only players in an alliance? When we have a player that stops playing they are kicked (to make room for active players). So your 60k guess is flawed, but that doesn’t matter to you.

If those stats came from those 500 alliances then they are active players? I think that would mean those stats are exciting

There is 13000 Alliances in the Polish Site
even if all alliances are filled with 50 player, it can't be 1.3mil

So the player list must included dead accounts

I think that to get more information we need to check these numbers a month later so that to see the dynamics.

The inclusion of unaffiliated active players (while still omitting dead bases) would get to 1.3 million easily.

last week there were only ~600.000 players..the site has been upgraded. Good to search for a player where he went...or to see your own alliance ranking...we are no 1850 on 13.000..yeahhh...

after 8 days, now we have 8200 CWA players
roughly 50 player upgraded into CWA per day. Amazing number

I can only notice the increasing number of war mismatch, so yes, there is a cause-effect linked to numbers you presented.

Your numbers can give us the % of top players without a potential partner, hence a war-mismatch implemented to cover this pyramid mess.

12 day upgrades. Continuous bugs. Lose oil storage. Hmm why players quit at Global age??
