Hello friends, I'm happy that wars have changed for better and they are not automatically 5* , but please make this game pay to advance and not to win, I'm willing to spend cash for hiring extra workers perhaps through subscription(and so would many) but unwilling and not wanting to spend money on items that help winning wars. War should be fair for all. Also dealing with cheaters no1 priority

There is no logic nor pricing model. It's just (currently legal) robbery. All the game market is poisoned by such madness nowdays. It's up to us, players whether we will support the robbers or not.

Could you clarify some points? for some of us that dont speack native English is not to easy follow the twich.
1)How the sandbagging will be penalized? will be the accounts classified as SandBag? How?
2)Are you planing to rebalance the different nations? how?
3)When is the next Rush Event?
4)When the new matching system will be implemented?
5)When the offensive will be ajusted? How?
6)How the inactive alliances will be retided from the rank?

BHG_Muet will there be any changes on sanctions on cheaters? People using hack, to advance fast. Maybe my question should be what are the sanctions. Kind of lost here.

I was able to take down a 258 cwa for 5* in war today. I’m a 234 CWA British player with atomic zooks and HT5. I didn’t use either for my attack. Tag me on domiprime or the sandbox Carndren and I’ll show you. I think the Nexon twitch guys get a load of stick for being rubbish attackers and I agree. Why don’t they get good community players involved in meta testing. I reckon Sparta or NVS would be perfect 😉

So my question is a simple one: are you planning to reverse or modify any of the recent defensive boosts from the rebalances?
People are asking for the entire 'rebalance' to be reversed, I'm only asking for one specific reversal: make all troop base stats the same regardless of defending vs attacking.
So, can we please get a simple answer?

Completely agree. Keep all other rebalance changes but give attacking and defending troops the same HP and DPS and all would be right in the World for me. It makes no sense at the moment. It was a lazy and ill conceived change but the good news is that it can be fixed very easily. Will the person responsible be brave enough to hold their hand up, admit it was a mistake and roll it back? No.

Thw whole rebalance was completely unnecessary. All that needed to be done was nerf Elephant archers. Maybe buff some of the under/unused units, that’s it.

From a business perspective, this rebalance might have been necessary for the long term survival of the game. Maybe revenue was down and not enough people were purchasing troop cards (except elephant archers!) and other pay to win additions to the game. Whatever compelled Nexon/BHG to make these changes has had the unintended consequence of turning off/driving away veteran players from the game. I’m still playing only because, over the last 3 1/2 years, I’ve spent thousands of hours and dollars on this game. That being said, over the last several weeks, I’ve significantly decreased the amount of time I’ve spent on the game and I haven’t spent any money. I do not think Nexon will address the rebalance concerns until there is tangible evidence that the rebalance is hurting their bottom line. For those folks who continue to buy up crowns even though they’re highly dissatisfied with the game, I implore you to stop until they restore the game to the way it once was. It’s such a shame that it has come down to this. The game was once enjoyable and addictive. And I didn’t mind pouring money into the game. Now, it’s just frustrating to play since my units gets decimated by bases 100 xps below my own.

if their revenue was down, why not enable multiple buys of the estate? pay to advance is better than pay to win. they would make a killing if we would be able to buy more than 1 estate.

The rebalance is more like a final step in a long downward spiral than a big change in direction. But it is the museum that really offends me more.

BHG_Muet Can you respond to that thread? Whether here or there. I heard from TinSoldier that you might respond to some if it in your twitch stream, as far as I can tell that didn't happen. I'll just leave it pinned to the top of the sub so it is easy to find when you are ready.

In addition, I would like to hear about your strategy to bring in more players, so that alliances start growing instead of shrinking again, and to help them advance faster so that the playerbase in cold war is large enough to sustain adding another age?

Three years into this game, and every addition has only increased worker time requirements, never shortening the older ages so that new players can advance their whole base quickly. They did make it easier to rush offensively, by adding a second slot at the armory and library. It should have been no surprise that led to a lot more players with max offenses and defenses lagging far behind, and the subsequent "concern" about 5* being too easy, as players with low levels but max offenses could hit high.

It will be impossible to grow the player base when a new player is looking at two years minimum to get to the top age, and any long term player that leaves is irreplaceable. Leading to a smaller and smaller playerbase, and a downward spiral as they try to get the same income or more form those remaining.

And if you don't think we have evidence that the playerbase is shrinking, I documented that with information from dominations.pl in another post.

BHG_Muet C’mon Joe, don’t abandon your thread.... I haven’t seen a response from you for any of my posts or any post for that matter in quite a while. Your live stream was a joke, and you’re not addressing the real issues with the game and it is very easy to see that by the outcry of your player base.

Seems to me that you guys are dead set on continuing down this path, continuing to further your P2W agenda - not only continuing it but ramping it up to a whole new level. I kind of get the feeling that you are basically abandoning your veteran player base who has been here for the past 3 years and just making the game however you want and the newbs will be satisfied because they don’t know what it was like before. It’s sad really.

Members/Players have been crying out for years about chrashes, chat bugs, cheaters, war matchups and past year say, pay to play.

You as a whole BHG, Nexon, developers (including all the uni leader BHG moderators that joined and never actually said or did anything..lol) have completely ignored the players... which are the bill payers!

I think until recent times we all hoped you would address certain issues or that you were working on it, but clearly you have been working on a completely different aspect. Coalitions (I mean they are good, but surely if you spend a month upgrading various coalitions the cost should go down to aquire them, respectful people cannot war because its a full time job aquiring these stupid things) UNI, Museum, Crown Dock, Stronghold, the daily release of new stronghold types..Bulletin Sale Event Board. speedups, 2 tactic spaces, Silo, Generals spawn anyway, Stronghold spawns anyway, Marco bloody Polo, Archive, Arrows that point at the Crown Dock and Museum (we know where the monstrosoties are, its quite clear, and we can't move them out of our way, so we dont really need an arrow to know where they are) books for doing a pieces of wall..I mean C'mon the list is endless!

All things that have in my opinion been detrimental to the game and ripping any shed of FUN from the game....

People are quitting left, right amd centre and a lot of the rest of them are literally ONLY PLAYING BECAUSE OF THEIR ALLIANCE FRIENDS! thats a pretty bad state of affairs.

For a developer to turn up now saying we are working on matchups, we cancelled rebalance 5, blah blah blah.... is NOT a solution.. its a cover up, a very lame response, a joke almost, stage 5 isnt the issue, stages 1-4 are the issue plus all the tat above!

You clearly have ignored everyone in the past, and to dangle this carrot is a desperate measure amd propoganda. If you were serious about the game issues, you should have fixed them before focusing on all the irrelevant items you have for the past 1.5 years.

No matter what you say you will do as a good will gesture (like cancelling stage 5) the game is already unplayable for a nice level of enjoyment. So we will, even with you gestures of pityfull good will never be better off than we actually should be for the amount of time and effort we put in.

I dunno what this is, it isnt a question, your not going to change the game in the way players want (merely drag them out for another month and a month after that etc...etc...) your really
if we are being serious now not going to revert your money makong schemes, so what is it. I suppose just a message to say all of the things you did that could have made a top 10 Android game definately never enter the top 10.


yeah... I'm still playing, but not for BHG Nexon, for my allies, and I must admit (its very sad) but it just isnt really enjoyable now (the game that is, what chat we can have without bugs is the highlight and only reason to play, til the chat doesnt load, challenge reverts to start, ally troops go missing, lol, FFS, anythingg else, cant be bothered to list anymore)

I think BHG_Muet has realised that addressing player concerns is not what he’s employed to do. Everything in this thread just summarises what has been said ad nauseum in the forums for a year or more. Why would they start addressing it now?
-shrinking player base
-established players abandoning game
-cheaters encouraged
-limitless EA cards not fixed
-gambling integrated & promoted
-PTW ubiquitous
-tactic & plane retraining requires crowns
-14 day+ upgrade times ridiculous
-everyone going German
-HT army only option in MP against silos
-rebalance for WW screwed MP
-tanks shooters nerfed
-nothing to spend resources on if you have maxed walls
-GAME IS NOT FUN ANYMORE

Where is the logic of defenders getting 250% HP/DPS boost and my barracks unit having ZERO offense upgrade??

Hopping back in to address a few of the additional questions that have come up:
  1. Museum War Hall - A few of you have commented on being locked out of your War Hall despite not participating in War. This is a bug and we’re investigating a fix. You should be able to mess with your Hall while you’re not in an active War. Additionally, we are taking the balance of the War Hall seriously.
    • We’re intentionally keeping modifiers lower @ 1, 3, 6%.
    • Slot type requirements aren’t as restrictive with the introduction of the Equipment type.
    • Crafting is more cumbersome than we’d like. We’re looking at changes in the new year that should streamline the experience of hunting for the specific Artifact you’re after.
  2. Cheating - I still don’t have specifics but know that I’ve started investigating our process and am looking to make improvements. Part of those improvements will come with more communication and clarity around when action is taken. I’ll let you know more as I know more.
  3. Post Rebalance Changes, What and When? - There are a variety of changes being tested now. To properly set expectations, none of them are rolling back any of the Stages 1-4. We’re currently looking into some targeted offensive buffs (Commandos and MRLs), dropping 2-pop war tactics down to 1 to open up tactic usage (with appropriate nerfs to functionality since they’re half the pop they were), a potential drop on defensive HT hitpoints, and improving the DOMINATION! Bonus at 3*s +. There’s also a new War Tactic that will roll out early next year for Global Age+. This new tactic should open up finer control of your troops and I’m excited to see how it’s used.
I’m going to hop into the MM thread next and provide some early insights into the upcoming MM changes.

Regarding cheating, how you deal with the cheaters is only part of the equation. I think the perception in the community is that more development focus goes towards new features rather than fixing festering bugs/exploits. Off the top of my head, the resource bug is still alive and well, the SH bug (for offense at least), various NTG/coalition related exploits, time cheats, etc. I know you have attempted to address some of these with recent updates, but they have been partially successful at best (when one door closes, another one opens it seems). I know that the community has sent countless videos and screenshots showing how these are performed, so it would be great to see these further addressed.
