@BGH_Muet Thank you for coming out and addressing the players. The acknowledgement of the un-balance failure and huge outpouring of the community on this one thread should immediately make you think that un-balance stages 1-4 should be rolled back. Alternatively increase the damage of planes ( the 2x plane event was the most fun I've had in months).
Also, tanks, ranged infantry, and heavy artillery are useless.... HT armies / German is the ONLY way to go without other significant troop improvements.
#1 ADDRESS CHEATERS!

Items to Address:
  • Better heads up Offensive/Defensive Level of Player in MP and War
    • could have metric showing ex: 71/100% completed building upgrades
  • Better messaging World/Private/Pinned Alliance chat
  • More player stats, total resources looted, battles won/lost, gametime played, # stars in war, crowns spent
  • Address troop and tactic retrain times with more factories/barracks/airstrip or reduced base time cost
    • Current raiding takes 5-6 hours per day to get enough NTG for daily war
    • Could simply address cost of NTG for coalitions, library research?
  • 0 Stronghold option for Wars
  • Stronghold: Display troop type and # troop tactic
Museum:
  • Museum transparency on MP and War bases
  • More Museum space for free
  • Direct item comparison chart
  • Chart of all Museum artifact options
  • Add better museum artifact reroll options not requiring crowns ( ie. Gold/Food/supplies/blueprints)
  • Refund 70% of researchers, supplies, benefactors used for trashed museum artifacts
  • Better control over artifact reroll, 3 selections either reroll stat type OR reroll stat bonus %

Better Unit AI:
  • Saboteur needs 1-2 trap disarm and/or a cooldown "cloaked from tanks" function
  • Gattling gun, APC, bazooka needs +1.5 range to avoid anti-tank gun 1-shot kill ( could slow down anti-tank gun speed by 60% and increase it's damage/shot 2x)
  • Avoid oncoming Silo doom
    • APC/MRL/Bazooka/Assault vehicle armies only usable with better rally / unit control
    • Suggest a secondary "retreat" rally w/ cool down that acts like a tactic radius
    • The retreat rally increases mvmt speed 300% and all troops in circle run outwards from retreat circle
    • Give more time to respond to Silo missile threat
How will you draw new players into the game? Currently it takes 3 years to catch up.
Old wisdom "I'd rather have 100k players paying $10/mo than 10k paying $50"

  • WoW addresses this with $80 single payment to advance character from 0 ->lv110 of 120 and an updated set of gear
    • ~1-2 weeks to max character @ 120 and play in raids.
    • +Ongoing $15/mo ( all players) to get updates/maintain servers
  • Your game costs $50 to get +3 citizens, $20 to upgrade one of dozens of buildings 1 level @ 14 days, $20 to get one legendary artifact , $200+ upgrade a single wall segment, plus months and months of upgrades to get HT Mk7 and Mk6 SS Fighters??
    • +Ongoing $50/mo to compete in Top100 War Alliances
  • ​​​​​​​NO comparison, Blizzard is a way better competitor $ per $ they give way more content.
  • Friends I've invited to play got frustrated after a week realizing that each age gets harassed by the age above them. ==Not fun

So to clarify the proposed adaptations to the rebalance:

1) 2-pop tactics will be reduced to 1-pop, but may be nerfed to the point that their values are essentially the same in battles.

2) Heavy tank defender HPs might be reduced. Might not.

3) Unspecified troop buffs to two specific troop types, forcing people to spend more time / crowns upgrading those paths before they can effectively compete.

4) Unspecified resource bonuses for 3* victories - as if 100k extra food, gold and/or oil compensate for needing to spend 90 minutes rebuilding an army after a 3* victory.

Whee.

The reality is that people with maxed out heavy tanks and planes are about the only ones who can figure out new tactical compositions that work. My base is far from a genius layout, and when I do check out my base, I watch army composition after army composition struggle to even break through the first level of my walls. It’s laughable.

People get two cracks to try out new strategies - one with their initial build, and one with a free rebuild after watching a video - and then they are usually stuck waiting 90 minutes to rebuild or spending money to try a third strategy. Nobody likes to learn a game that way. Maybe people with bottomless wallets. Maybe that’s the remaining audience for Nexon here.

I suspect that most Dominations players don’t mind a challenge. However, Nexon has shown ZERO indication that they want to provide their players a reasonable path to adapt to the rebalance without paying them for the privilege. That’s insulting to long-time players, and despite the complaints, they’ve responded only with platitudes.

Do they have a series of post-rebalance videos with useful tips and videos of effective strategies? Do they have events that reduce the time for army rebuilds? Do they offer some token crowns to long time customers so they can maybe try a third or fourth new strategy in a session? No. These are such obvious things that Nexon could do if they had taken even a moment to put themselves in players’ shoes. The fact that they clearly haven’t speaks volumes.

That is what ultimately is truly insulting. This is a beeline for players’ wallets, and the people who don’t pay them lots of money aren’t even on Nexon’s radars any more. And they continue to show that through their reluctance to do anything other than demand money from their players.

We’re intentionally keeping modifiers lower @ 1, 3, 6%.
Is this only for war artifacts? (I haven't been crafting anything in weeks so have no clue)

To properly set expectations, none of them are rolling back any of the Stages 1-4.

How is targeting two troops going to encourage diversity and new troop combos? If you want people to try new troop combos, make re-training quicker!

If they were originally 2 pop and now you're halving them, fine, but they're only going to be half the pop they were because you guys initially doubled them. Now you're dropping them back to their original one space and your argument is they need an appropriate reduction? Why does that not surprise me?
But wth, I also believe stores when they tell me the clothes are 50% off.

Potential? Are we 3 yrs olds being told to play nice and we might get a cookie?
And just on the HTs? Why is it so hard for this company to squeeze out a little for the sake of the greater good?

Will believe it when I see it but it's about time, although I'm wary about any caveats that might come with this improvement. Call me cynical.

buffing some underused troops is very welcome, but you have to buff them significantly or else they just won't be used at all. MRLs are a huge disappointment. wasted time upgrading my factory to get this garbage unit. should be a benefit getting to CWA to get a new good unit, not a disappointment.

Through this rebalance I have tried desperately as a leader to get my team to believe that this was just like any other changes made like tactics going to 2 spaces , silo, stong hold , but in all honesty I don't believe the lie I was telling my team , I hate the rebalance took my escape away and made it a nightmare. I literally hate logging in and playing now. I always didn't like multiplayer I always just bought whatever I needed or wanted , I lived for and loved war above all else , and the glory and the leader board , I liked the a janitor and a ceo could be against each other in war and the janitor had a chance . That is all over now now you better spend that money , want to sandbag to get a better match so your team can have some fun and not spend as much since you lost your interest on being competitive well forget that now this fix coming kills the non competitive teams spirit , literally every war will be decided by the total amount of big spenders like me to be all on the same team to be competitive I would have to choose other spenders over froefri that I have played with for three years . Yes I have tried to get excited about three and four stars on a defense base but it is definitely not the same as getting 5 star for the win like before . The gwme has loal everything it once had , it's garbage now and though I have about 15-20 thousand dollars in the game including the 2000 I have spent since the rebalance to get HT and research and nation change because the style of play I liked is now over , I am done . I'm getting off the hampster wheel that is this rebalance , when you lose players like me whatever this was my only real hobby outside of work you will lose so many others like me , good luck and to my friends ...yes I have some lol , hope tn see you in chats . The people made this a fun game even in it's decline to the state it's in now not to mention where it's heading . In my case the delete file . My account is not for sale all ressouces are outside and I have deactivated my museum artifacts for those who still want to play this ruined game . Too late for me mister muet not qnoanot dime going to bug huge it's going golfogo instead good luck with the destruction of what was the best game on the market

After reading the players opinion and Nexons/BHG response regarding the rebalance all I can think of is the fairy tale from childhood called "The Emperor's New Clothes". Anyone who's not familiar with it, look it up - it's a fun read! All in all - The King is naked, but too ignorant to realize it.

It's pretty clear you're out of touch with your player base, but i don't mind - how could you? Since Stage 5 was cancelled, there's was no boost to Wall Sappers. The key troops to attack 250+ lvl maze layouts. At the moment they are not useless, but could be completely removed from the game as after all the towers boost, even 6 sappers with boosted health coalition can't reach the walls. They walk towards the wall and just die. That means 24 unit's completely wasted. But you'd know it when you'd actually play your own game. So again - I don't mind, how could I?

Also you'd know that having industrial-global defense is now more than enough to be idle and keep 265k oil in refinery without being afraid someone would try to steal it. Also regarding post-rebalance, actual players flood the attack log with infantry droppers and they raise medal count from 400 to 1300+ in less than 24h - approximately 12h to be more precise. It used to be from 400 to 900. Now it takes about 30-40min to just drop medals from 1200 to 400 and start looting. Or I should start looting 1200+ and lose half of my army to crappy industrial-global defense bases? I don't think so, Tim! (Ah, Home Improvement, what a show it was!)

Anyway, pretty sure i said nothing new that your inner data tool (aka Excel) doesn't already show, does it? Joe came in to just do the damage control, nothing else. They don't know their players, they don't know how to play their own game, and also making a Twitch feed with an Industrial account? I thought CWA was the highest age players can have or have I misunderstood something?

Not what Manifesto initially said "Don't throw your car keys in not just yet", but keep them.

Nexon and its players are in a bad and abusive relationship. Players are afraid to break up as they don't have better options/don't want to feel alone. But it's just a matter of time until someone better comes and fills up the void - nature doesn't like an empty spot and then there's no turning back. This is how we - your most important asset - feel regarding your respect towards us, community.

I for one, am thrilled to hear that you are thinking about the HT on defense. It’s way WAY OP. I was one of the ones who was so mad about these rebalance changes. However, after they were implemented and stage 5 was axed, looking back I realized it was WAY too easy before. As a global age player who didn’t have research maxed, I was able to beat low Cold War age players before. So, I did understand that the changes were necessary. I did feel decoy was beyond nerfed (for the max to be below what it was at its minimum stage - 24k hp before any upgrades or research I thought was massively unfair especially when it was only 14 seconds) but my biggest complaint since the great unbalancing has been HT on defense. It’s just absolutely ridiculous how strong it is. I, personally, feel all defenders to be twice the HP of their offensive counterparts is insane anyway... but, man if u can take the HT hp to its normal state that would go a long way into bringing some actual balance back to the game.

I do think it would be nice if barracks troops got at least a slim boost on HP and damage to help compensate for the drastic increase in defense. I, personally, don’t see how anyone in Cold War is able to beat 3d maxed CW bases. Especially with Russians so completely overpowered.

Also, will y’all be finishing Cold War? Cold War hasn’t received coalitions, alliance troops, dock, etc. with wanting to move everyone to factory, i think adding troop space would also be nice for Cold War folks.

I do realize no game is going to be perfect. I do think there are some areas this game could be improved upon, but I am still loving the game. There’s just nothing else out there to compare. I do wish y’all would stop with the ridiculous tier sales. If I had actually wanted this war legendary artifact, it would have cost me $85 on my main account and like $48 on my alt... that’s. A huge price difference.

Also I would love the ability to gift alliance members troop tactics. Not everyone have the resources to spend money in game, so it would be great to be able to help alliance me,hers out in this way. Also idk who does these sales. But someone posted a sale this weekend targeted at war and the blurb stated that it included blessings to make both of your war attacks better..... so, clearly whomever did the sale has no clue that unless u r cheating, blesssings aren’t used in war.

Too late.

For a long time our alliance was invite only, and we won almost every war. I gave up leadership weeks ago when the rebalance garbage began and I moved on to another game. But since then our alliance has bled veterans, with one after another leaving the game. The new leader was forced to open recruitment, and now our once great alliance is full of noobs. Which has of course wrecked it for the remaining veterans, who continue to jump ship.

BHG is dumb. Just dumb. There really isn't much more to say about it. Case studies will be written about this - how to murder your own cash cow.

this sounds like a trick.

if i have to use 7 tactics per battle instead of 4 or 5, all that does is make retraining longer.

I see all people disagree with changes. I disagree alot, I think either nobody is happy, just this lead developer that does twitch with a Industrial age city to throw sand to our eyes.
Since this Sir is in charge the game is taking the same path his past games gone... All fail projects.
I think we has a community should not come here blame him because he dont really cares, he trys to proof that he´s right even if 98% playrbase disagree.
I think it is time we and "en mass" get direct contact to nexon bosses and complain about and show them what is really happen. I think they don´t, This greedy person its only thinking about his job and try to call us stupid.
Hey "dumb" Sir, before we had turkeys for free! not pay 300 crowns to have dumb turkeys around, it shows before you came ruin the game, nexom ares a bit and offered something us on special days, not try to sell us every thing you can sell!

in other games, they organize mini games and world wide competitions lasting a whole week to celebrate thanksgiving.
Gifts come and go like pop corn!! It is a really nice atmosphere! Makes you wanna play more.

TinSoldier why in this game we do not have any changes on the map nor any gifts nor any free turkeys? It doesn't make such of a difference for the game BUT it makes a whole lot of players happier if there are. You get my meaning?

And on top of that absence, pay 300 crowns for the bird? no no nope...

The more insane and obvious the desperate clawing at my wallet becomes, the deeper into my pocket it goes .......I’m finding it easier and easier to just ignore all the really poor attempts to get me to go back to spending on this game , it’s becoming literally embarrassing to see . There was a time when we got nice little surprises like a Turkeys ...nothing much in the long run , but that type of thing engendered a bit of good will towards the game on behalf of BHG/Nexon ...but they are not interested in that any more are they .
I have come to the conclusion that it’s pretty pointless asking anything of these guys , they ignore everything that might actually be popular in favour of a simple grab for cash ....
If I hadn’t been playing this game for a few years, there is no way in hell that I would start to play it now .....and I’m only playing now through habit ...but less and less each day .
Any thought I had that Joe Grubb was going to do anything meaningful to change things for the better died several days ago, when he said that he signed off on the ;Rebalances and that they are not going to be reverted in any meaningful way , which was followed by the offer for sales of even more extreme defensive stuff like a flamethrower building etc...talk about rubbing people’s noses in BHG’s contempt for its customers ....
I’m pretty sanguin now that the game will not be saved for the likes of me , that whatever follows, whatever changes , this isn’t for me much longer ....
I used to log in first thing in the morning to get a fix, do the farming and get a few attacks in ....all that’s already gone , it’s history .

If the designers and owners of the game don’t care any more about the game ( apart from the naked and very ugly grab for any money they can get, by any method ....) why should I .
The slight chance to look like they care , in any shape or form , is disappearing so much faster than I expected ..but hey ho , never mind eh .
