Is Nexon too soft on cheaters?

Recently had some issues with cheaters, reported them and noticed yesterday what Nexon means with appropriate actions. Little background story of the examples. These two examples approached me in alliance chats and line groups to sell a hack. One of them is really active in the Nexon Community form. And getting in to alliances by using the forum.
I reported the one that is joining alliances trying to sell his hack, and added the alliance chat print screens where he offers his hack. All is given as evidence to the support team.

The hack would give you unlimited resources

One gained around 750.000 XP Since he started using the hack.
Maxed out his walls within a few days.
Action taken by Nexon – 466.000 XP
Still has all his walls maxed out.

The other gained around 1.5 million XP since he started using the hacks
Maxed out all his walls
Action taken by Nexon - 499.000 XP
Still has all his walls maxed out.

Attached are the XP charts of both users, removed there names because it’s not allowed to expose cheaters here. Some know who it was but please leave there names out of this topic.

On the right side in the charts you can see the XP Nexon removed from this player.

I personally think they should be put back to Iron Age if proven guilty. With there alliance gate up so that there alliance can see they have bin cheating. It’s also a message to the other players about the risk there taking by cheating.

Recently huh? You must be new to this game.

I remember some people being Industrial Age weeks prior to release of Industrial Age and that was in 2015 or 16 as I recall.

Nexon/BHG NEVER had it under control.

I know it exists longer than a few days. That's not the question here. These guys are proven guilty and still gained huge advance by using a hack for a few weeks.

Garuda Sakti been doing it for weeks now if not months. Numerous complaints with screenshots and still they are in Top 10 alliance out there. Its beyond ignorance now, more like Nexon/BHG trolling us.

LordTywin242AC All most if there Ok with it use them. Low sanctions high advantage is always a bad sign. If people are gaining so much and losing so little by if they get caught. It will never stop, only get more to use them. These guys will win massively with the current rebalancing going on. And not only people in the high ranked alliances are using it.

You know when we were playing another game we came up with a theory on this- cheaters push whales to spend. It was conspiracy theory for a long time but then it was somewhat confirmed by a leaked investor meeting. Not saying for fact that’s what nexon is doing but they could permanently ban the persons device if they wished. So the fact that their big punishment is removing xp(worthless) makes me wonder. We know they are not a moral company.

Well about the cheating, I will ask u all this. Why dose it all bother u about who cheats or not. From the start of this games there is cheating all the time from day 1 I am sure some of you in here have tryed to find something to help u out with the game, now nexon doesn't care, and why would he care there a lot of players that pay in the game so the make millions. And u people like sheep u are you are giving out some people to the corporate branch for what??? Because they did something that u can't or don't have the knowledge to do it?? I can understand that in higher alliances/players. I'm from a avarage alliance with players that are not playing the major league. I will not be paying anything more because I matched up against a cheater. The Top 100 alliances have something more to gain maybe but we have notting to lose except some troops, glory and medals.

Why, for me it became personal when they started offering in the alliance and thru line groups. And on my personal line ID. And might have a problem with looking the other way. The simple thing is they encourage you to report, but the sanctions against violators are not in proportion in my eyes.

My hope is that everyone reports cheaters to customer service; get as much proof as possible via screen shots. In my opinion, Nexon should ban players for 30 days for a proved cheat or hack. Any and all gains via cheating should be rolled back. If they are caught cheating again, they should be banned permanently. I would hope Nexon takes cheating very seriously, otherwise, if allowed to continue, or if the response is a slap on the wrist, it undermines the fairness, image, and basic fun of Dominations.

Yes, they are.

On cheating in world war (god/matrix mode)
On abuse of glitches (NTGs/endless troops)
On base acceleration cheating to upgrade stuff faster than they should be able to without spending serious money(cheating with workers, rss cheating)

The concept of this being a competitive game is fatally flawed while all this continues. My guess is at least 10% of the top 100 population would be banned/seriously rolled back if it was dealt with. The number might be quite a lot bigger than that. But that’s not a reason to not fix it....

Our CS team will investigate every issue that is reported to them.

Removing player XP would be quite an arbitrary punishment, and not something that is done within our current ban system. Among other reporting issues, this is why we've pointed out in the past that data from the website shown in screeshots isn't a true measure of a player's account.
