Has anyone else had issues with an alliance called Dark Dragons (their description is War is Life)?
A player named gregor (using one account) joined our alliance right after we were matched for War. He got our strategies, talked to us about how our wars worked, then, after his alliance got 100 stars, he told us he was going back to his alliance where he was the leader (using the same name on a different account). My alliance works hard for our glory and this guy acted as a spy and screwed us. A player from an alliance you’re at war with shouldn’t be able to join your alliance while you’re planning/at war.

1. You see 2 gregors and you don't connect the dots? You got served.
2. It's war. It's dirty. It's called intel. You can put your alliance on invite or close it. So you better be prepared this is not teddy bear land.
3. Seeing your strategies is hardly what messed you up. Probably seeing your traps from hitting your bases in FRCs is more damaging.
4. And to highlight your stupidity, the account joining can be from an alliance other than the one you are at war with. So, this rule is as newb as your points.

We faced them before last year, had 1 of them but not Gregor joining, one of our councils kicked him, and since the alliance was set to Invite only, Gregor came requesting 😂 I closed the alliance soon after that.
It's all dirty in love and war 😊 Intels are nasty but they exist. Can't really do anything about it really.
It was a clean war though.

Unfortunately I don't think this is classified as cheating - a bit sneaky yes, but not cheating. There are no rules stating that this isn't allowed. You should be wary of anyone who joins your alliance after you've declared war.

It's not cheating, but it's lame and unethical on their part. In reality it likely doesn't change war results but it's lame nevertheless.

Some grey areas can be considered cheating though; like crash bases. I consider all crash base users as cheaters. I have zero respect for users and alliances that have crash bases, and sadly some high profile alliances (some with friendly people too) allow it.

Its not cheating, but its lame. We've had this happen to my alliance too. However we picked up on it pretty quickly and we sent a spy over to their alliance. We also gave them a lot of misleading intel by saying we donated certain troops (like footies) to the TC or that we were unable to donate troops to certain war bases because of some glitch. They bought it because our spy confirmed that they were discussing the intel they found out while their spy was in our alliance.

Information gathering is a part of all games of this nature. When you queue for war,set alliance to "invite or closed"

We've had people show up and ask about battle strategies. They didn't get squat. Then they disappeared after we won the war. Beware the spy!

Weak move by a so called leader. He can't attack, does the spying and still fails. Lol

me and my players like to watch the war from two perspectives, This is good fun, do you really think my spying had the effect of our victory ?
