Lag during world wars

Am i the only person with lag durng world wars? I have had it for some time now (i didnt play the game 10 months and when i returned a cpl of months ago, it was laggy as hell).
As soon as i deploy troop cards or i have too many troops on screen, the whole game just freezes...i cannot deploy all my troops, i cannot use my planes or tacticw and if i am able to i have to tap about 50 times before anything happens.
i am 1 of the highest and strongest in my alliance and we are actually loosing wars over this...in our war tonight, i lost at least 2 stars, but most likely 3 or 4 just because i couldn't deploy my troops in time or at the place i wanted them (for some reason i often cannot place my walking dudes where i put the rest of my army...thats weird also, just wouldnt do it....10 cm away from the rest, i can)...

i am pretty sure there is a memory leak in the game, i also talked to cs a cpl of times, but they just say yeah yeah blabla and do nothing...
i am playing on an samsung galaxy tab 2016 with android 7. Altho its a cpl of yrs old the specs are still very good and i should be able to play without any lag on it...

I have about the same lag on war attacks, the update did not fix it.

terrible lag in all my attacks, especially when I use assault rally or witch doctors. Game in such a case, is simply put unplayable.
