Greetings leaders! I hope everyone has been enjoying all the recent in-game events. We’ve certainly been having a lot of fun developing them and playing them ourselves.

Over the last few months we focused our efforts on fixing bugs, improving performance and stability, and implementing better security. We know how frustrating it can be to see crashes in battle, especially during World War. With the 3.5 and 3.7 releases, you should notice a marked improvement. We made performance gains across the board, especially on older devices. We also spent a lot of effort on improving security on the back end, making it harder for cheaters to prosper and banning those that do.

These releases required ground-up rewrites of several core systems, so they took a long time to develop and we had to do a lot of testing to ensure that any changes were actually improving the gameplay experience. Going forward we will continue to work on keeping DomiNations stable, secure, and polished, in order to provide the best experience we can for all our players.

In addition, 3.7 also came with several improvements to the usability of Alliances. Several of these are features that have been long requested by players (as well as quite a few of our developers), like the ability to write custom chat messages with troop requests. This should ensure that players are a lot happier with what they get from their allies. Alliance leaders can also better manage their alliances now thanks to information about last log-in and lifetime donations for allies, as well as the ability to message the entire alliance though the in-game inbox. Finally it’s easier than ever to search, sort, and join an alliance, as well as bookmark alliances to easily find them later.

As mentioned above, we’ve been having a lot of fun making events that we think are challenging, provide great rewards, and depict exciting episodes from yesteryear. I’m really excited about our next batch of events, especially the one that will let pre-Industrial Age players try out airplanes in battle. Feel free to post in the forums if you have suggestions for events! They are a great place for us to try out new content and have some fun showcasing aspects of history that don’t get a chance to shine in regular gameplay.

Global Age is almost here! We know it’s been a long time coming and we thank you for your patience. The Global Age brings the World War II era to DomiNations. WWII involved most of the world's nations, splitting the globe between the Axis and the Allies. Over 50 million people died in the war, making it the deadliest in recorded history. Following the war, changes to the global political power structure led to the Cold War standoff between the United States and the Soviet Union.
In DomiNations, the Global Age introduces bigger tanks and bigger planes, as well as a few other new twists. The vehicles and planes look amazing, and there are three brand new troop types with the release (including one that is introduced in Gunpowder Age). My personal favorite is the Paratrooper. They get dropped from a transport plane and parachute down behind enemy lines, gunning down a base from the inside.

Looking beyond Global Age, we will continue to work on making improvements to alliances, as well as adding more depth and strategy to World Wars. Players should expect to see new content across all ages. Our next big feature I’m probably not allowed to talk about yet (producer note - definitely not allowed to talk about it yet!), but I think it does a great job of bringing more of the historical flavor that makes DomiNations unique. And it’s fun to boot. Hopefully we’ll be able to share more details about it with you soon.

Okay, that’s it for this month. We really appreciate your support, and look forward to continuing to share and grow DomiNations with you all!

The Alliance improvements have been a very welcome addition. If I may offer a couple more suggestions to make them even better:

* Sticky Alliance troop requests. That is, default to the last thing the player typed in the request field so that, in the event that you frequently ask for the same troops, you don't have to keep typing it.
* Send a Notification when the Alliance Leader posts mail, or have that be an option. This feature would be useful during Wars to remind participants that there might be X hours left, and to please take your attacks!

Keep up the great work!

We can't forget the Testing Grounds of World War Two (Spanish Civil War), and the guy behind such civil war (Francisco Franco).

Thanks for the update.

I'm getting the idea that devs are working on fixing the source code of this game. Is that why there are so many noticeable bugs? (Wrong thumbnail on barracks training, AI of cannons ignoring low health structures)

And sad to say, world war crashes have not been resolved.

Hopefully the devs will work to balance the game in the upcoming patch.

- balance wonders..totally rework the useless ones like Stonehenge.
- balance races..Greek is completely lackluster
- why does Tercios do less damage than Chinese handcannons when its supposed to be the next age troop?

I guess the idea is to fix the broken stuff before releasing global age please. (or the game might be completely unplayable)

Thanks for the update, I always look forward to hear directly from the devs. I do noticed fewer War crashes from my alliance so that's good progress. Adding War replay would be nice and a must. Please continue to fix your bugs, and improve your security. Most of us don't mind waiting longer for global age release. It'll give some of us IA players more time to progress in IA as well.

My alliance has seen a significant improvement in war crashes...meaning we have not had any since the update...and had at least 8-10 crashes per war before the update. So big thanks on that! Also seeing a lot less issues with cheats, though not totally gone. The global age and new troop types sound fantastic, really excited to see even more layers of strategy added to the game I feel has the greatest depth in strategy as far as mobile games go. My one concern is that I did not read anything about war replays...those are a must have! Please get those in before the global age or with it. Great job, love the game!

Please Bring the world war replays first. And i dont like to take real nation so add more fiction nation from history. Or nerf Roman nation, its 25% extra health on melee alpini is useless against rebout n mortar.

Thank you for the great work that you are doing!
To be fair, I should acknowledge that we're seeing a marked reduction in the number of crashes in World Wars. We're hearing fewer instances of crashes from our allies in World Wars. You're also doing a great job with the events! Keep it up!
The latest update also made significant and useful updates to alliance management. Thanks!
Excited to hear about the global age! Looking forward to it!

But, ahead of world war replays, it'll serve the game as well as the community well if the issue of alliance searches/listing is fixed. JHawkins Ironangel please do address this issue on priority. You can read about the problems faced by a lot of alliances on these two threads.

https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexon...ter-the-update

I do appreciate Ironangel's acknowledgement of the issue on the discussion thread. But, as multiple leaders have pointed out, delaying the rollout of the fix is detrimental to the game and to the community. So, I'm reiterating the need for this fix in our mutual interest.

Once again, thanks for the game, and appreciate all of the great work you and your team are doing!

nice to hear about new troops but for the record in addition to the bugs mentioned by others, after update 3.7 I am experiencing more crashes and since I am playing on a galaxy note5 (an android flagship), it means that you didn't succeeded in making the game more stable.

Thanks so much for keeping us informed. I love reading these addresses! Keep them coming! Sounds like you all have been very busy with writing from the ground up. It explains a lot of the issues we've experienced (AI issues, change in number of new allies joining, visual bugs etc.) hopefully you'll get this under control in the next update or two before we go global. I'm pleased that the war crashes have lessened and love all of the extra alliance features you've added. Thank you again for giving us such a great game to play! I love the history and the excellent attention to detail on the graphics. Please specifically thank your artists for me 😊 Regards, Gail

PS while the wolf event wasn't my favorite I did love those little wolves, but they were too cute to kill. Especially when they got into the "let's play" stance when you touch them to send your hunters. Poor little guys just wanted to play. Made me want to throw a stick and say "fetch"

So I assume Global Age is gonna be version 4.0? Or directly next update is gonna already be Global?

Could you please give a bit more info with ERT, so we can start getting ready? Thanks!

Thanks so much for the upcoming global age and adding more contents to the game. However as much as we look forward to all these, please do not overlook the current bugs like glitch barracks displays, AI ignoring towers etc and especially the alliance gate issue, although improved in some sense like requests etc, it has cut off the supply of recruits to many alliances. Hopefully that you can seriously look into these issues too. Thanks so much and all the best for the next update!
