MRL Splash Damage

TinSoldier Before the defender hp buff, I used the MRL units —a lot. With this latest rebalance, I haven’t noticed anything different. The so called “ splash damage” doesn’t seem to do a thing. Has anyone else noticed this? I issued a friendly challenge on my base and deployed one to see it in action. It fired at a farm, which had no area effect on the surrounding buildings... maybe I’m missing something?

I already knew it was poop didn’t have to try it. It’s a tactic to get people to crown the next “it” troop. Saba tours are poop as well. Nexon didn’t invent this tactic. Seen it before. Cheat pay or die. The smart cheat the suckers pay we die

Saboteurs are great. You must not know how to use them properly and that’s why you don’t like em. But the more people that think they are “poop” the better for me.
He called the sh!t poop lmfao

Another new member with a low lv base praising the newest change. Nope not suspicious at all. If I use any kind of offensive language I get banned. I’m tins special friend.

Really, who's still using the MRLs? And why do you bother?
Their rate of fire is a lazy arc, much slower than artillery and from memory their damage sucked as well.

Lol, it's fun to read all your comments 😆
I bet none of you actually know what MRL stands for?!😆
Technically real-life MRLs are known for their inaccuracy (compared to basic artilleries). The splash damage is a good (unnoticeable) addition, knowing that basically real-life MRLs don't have that ability (they just launch several rocket projectiles then explode, that's all ~ not sure if it's considered as ''splash'' damage lol).
However, that unit is cleverly introduced in Cold War Age based on its actual later World War II reference.
So let's appreciate the historical reference too 😊

Now, where is Barrage?! I don't see high - end players use them! Give them some love! 😑

Never used MRLS but just gave it a spin post balance. I'm starting to like it more than HAs tbh....(even with the 'nerf')

MRLs, whether people know what it stands for or not, were cheap and easy to operate WW2 weapons (hence the Russians used them) and they're just as useless compared to artillery in Dominations as they were in WW2. Ok so they were great at scaring the enemy but it was more about terror and area effect than actual destruction. At least that's my opinion.
The graphics are much better than artillery but that's not enough for me to use them.
And Barrage blows! (get it?) ;)

Wouldn't it be great if they (the devs) had video files showing unit stats/effects before changes then uploaded new videos demonstrating the changes? For all those sceptics out there?

I would say technically barrages work similar to MRL Manifesto. Both fire projectiles (inaccurately).
This is funny, the other day someone used barrage on missile silo and I was like, hell GA player still use barrage?! And that thing actually ''blew'' the silo 😆
Back to MRL, despite of how much you guys are not a fan of it, at least you can donate them to younger level players, would be really OP 😊 That's the benefit of having CW players in alliances, right?

They have a much higher survival rate. Being able to defend against enemy troops is really useful, if they stray from the pack. But yes, their ROF is horrendous my friend.
