Has anyone heard if the nations will be rebalanced, and if so, in what stage? I’m thinking about switching from the Germans to the British, to help take down defending Heavy Tanks.

The point was made that I should wait to see if they rebalance Nations, to which I agree.

-Thanks

they have been reluctant to touch nations

in effect the troop rebalance does change nations ... british are nerfed, and germans/romans are buffed.
though greek/french tanks are 'nerfed' because bases got stronger ... with effective boosted fighter air support they still feel strong to me.
romans 10% troop bonus is comparatively 'buffed'. one of our alliance is switching roman.

the comparator nation is chinese: the opportunity cost of having an extra worker vs a national bonus.
you might think chinese were buffed from the rebalance, and all other nations nerfed.
if we are all to attack bases significantly weaker than ourselves, why not just be chinese and take the extra worker?

to me, the irrational choices are japanese and korean. i don't see them as comparable to the extra chinese worker.

to take down heavy tanks, i would think the best nation-bonus options are german fighters, german rpg, roman rpg, korean betrayal.

I understood, from TinSoldier , that the rebalancing of nations is not included. there are a plenty of publications about it.

https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexon...ancing-nations (include stats about nations)
Tin said:
The nations won't be getting an update during the rebalance, but it is always a possibility in the future. I'm also curious on where these estimated player numbers came from.

Thanks for the quick feedback.

My thinking was/is that the + one range will keep the shooters safe from the now terrifying redoubts and Motars as well as help eliminate defenders who threaten my attack helicopters (I use five). I was haveing luck with the Germans and their APC unit, but due to the latest “rebalance” those units are now used as cannon fodder.

Ive found that the Bazookas are much more usefull than before, but still die waaaayyyyy to quickly to be as effective as they should be.

A large force of shooters accompanied by defence hungry helicopters and a few APCs for cover, in my mind, should be a formidable force.

In any way, any other change to level the nations, will be affected by the rebalance stages that were not done.

It is an interesting idea, I haven't seen anyone really doing that so far. I have seen people combining heavy tanks and attack helicopters, but it didn't look to me like an improvement over straight heavy tanks.

I think the reduced damage per space compared to howitzers would be a problem for actually working through a base, but maybe it would work out okay. And you still need something to draw silo fire on top of your APCs/shooters/attack helicopters / healers.

If you try it, give us some feedback / post some videos.

i have tried something similar, and my results varied widely by each battle. but then i didnt have my helicopters upgraded, and when it worked, it worked nicely, so i think it could be a good composition to work on

I use my fighters in MP to wipe a silo before the battle. If it’s well defended, but still juicy, I will use my mercenaries and generals with a protect to distract the silo. I’m conflicted haha, I’ve switched from the Germans before and regretted it, but that was before this “rebalance”. The main problem I’m having now is that specialty troops such as Bazookas and HT take up too much troop space and die too quickly to be effective. One land mine and that’s it. A large force of shooters with a protect tactic seems like it may be a more efficient utilization of the oh so limited troop cap.

I’ll give some more thought and get back to you.

-Thanks
