So I've done some thinking about the nations and how if we progress through the ages there are times new things happen and nations make there own units, ect
I was thinking somewhere around enlightenment age (the better option) or industrial age a new bonus should appear for nations and sometimes a new unit for a second tier and of course somewhere after the cold war age a third tier. Ill only do what I think is for the second tier and so let me know what you think and if you all agree and like it or hate it doesn't matter really though I do hope this is considered by NEXON

All nations will have a special factory or air unit as well.

Chinese:
walls 10% health
Towers 10% health
Special Machine gunner 20% more health: Xiang soldiers (industrial age), heavenly soldiers ( global age), righteous gunner (atomic age)

British:
1 less citizen for expeditions
Bank storage increase by 200k food and gold, 2000 for oil
10% road income
Fighter plane 10% more health: hurricane ( Industrial Age), spitfire ( global age), mosquito ( atomic age), firefly ( Cold War age)

French
farms 15% production
3 more allied army size
saboteur 20% attack and attack speed: resistance ( Industrial Age), marquis ( global age), FFL ( atomic age)

German:
25% cost reduction for all factory units
15% less time for building factory units
Heavy tank 10% health and damage and moves faster then normal tanks: a7a ( Industrial Age), panzer mk3 ( global age), tiger tank ( atomic age), Panther tank (Cold War age)

Greek:
(the current bouns of upgrades changed to 10% time reduction for buildings
rally now gives a 5% attack and 10% defence till rally effect is over
refund increased by 5% also effects university
Machine gunner move faster and 10% more health: Hellenic gunner ( Industrial Age), epk gunner ( global age), Herschel ( atomic age)

Japanese:
10% health to all defence buildings plus walls
houses spawn heavy infantry when destroyed
city hall/town centre has castle damage
Fighter plane 15% attack: Ro go kogata (industrial age), zero or hyabusa (global age), Kyokko (atomic age)

Koreans:
10% reduced time on building tactics
5% more gold and food
10% less in library and university cost.
saboteurs 20% more health and attack speed: Righteous commando ( Industrial Age), liberator commando ( global age), republican saboteur ( atomic age)

Romans:
1 extra troop each age
10% attack and health for factory troops
1 extra troop for each coalition
Saboteur 10% more damage and don't spawn generals: arditi ( Industrial Age), maiali ( global age), carabieneri (atomic age)

so that's what I think, I hope some will agree and ill modify it if some have better ideas or might work better. I don't expect people to agree and I don't think NEXON will look at this but if they do and could add something like this as extra bonuses for ages later then I would be happy.

Your heart is in the right place but some of those bonuses are plain OP. Another issue is what will happen with the additional buildings when switching nations. Overall nice idea but it needs polishing :)

Thanks, I've changed the Japanese and Korean ones and added something extra for the British and Romans I was more detailed on the extra food and gold part

You made me laugh. Who care of this economic bonus if you can easily loot 600-700k gold/meat in 1 MP Battle?

British already OP with their + 1 range and now need more buff with plane?
French also strong with their unique tank and now they can hv 1 more merc + 3 troops from Alliance (totally 9 allied troops)?
German with unique rally ability + 15% fury + unique heavy infantry also need added benefit for heavy tank?

For Roman, +15 additional troops in Atomic age does nothing comparing to 1 additional merc for Chinese (im sure you know how 1 tank destroyer is far more better than 10 troops) + 1 citizen+ 2x faster from ranged infantry/ French with strong unique tank + additional 6 alliance troops + 20% less training time/ British +1 range & 15% more loot

All I'm trying to do is make the nations more different to each other and trying to suggest a special factory or aircraft

But feel free to make a post of your own if you think you can do better job at it and heads up I'm not at atomic age, still on Industrial Age.
Also if you have a better idea for a second bonus for French lets hear it

I would have few suggestion (only for some nations) as below:

British: already OP in war so better to add more economic benefits
1 less citizen for expeditions
Bank storage increase by 200k food and gold, 2000 for oil
10% road income

Romans:
1 extra troop for each age
Factory unit + 10% HP & damage

Japanese:
+10% total wall & +20% wall hitpoint
+ 10% HP for all defensive buildings
Fighter plane 10% HP & damage

I am not a game designer on DomiNations, so I'd have to default to one of them to speak to the balance of the nation powers presented.

Personally, I do like the idea of adding nation-specific units that are unlocked in the later-aged buildings, such as the Factory and the Airstrip. I've passed this suggestion to the team!
