New to game and have a question

Hello to you all. I'm new to the game. I've only been playing a few days but really enjoying it so far. One question I do have is I know buildings cannot be rotated but is this the same for gates. I have gates but they look a bit silly as I can't rotate them to fit the entrances/exits. Is this possible.

yeah this part is a bit wonky. if you have two fences gapped and place the gate it will snap into place in the right way. A bot of a pain in the butt but it works
