Nb4powerup TinSoldier ... in maximus’ last post (https://forum.nexonm.com/forum/nexo...-aa/605320-thanks-for-solving-our-problem-bhg) you indicated that it had been resolved and we have been contacted in discord. This simply is not true. We heard we are looking into it. But nothing else in the last 6 days following the initial contact. I followed up twice and never received a single response. If we cannot get our glory restored, we will await satisfactory compensation, and Any level of customer service. No response followed by closing all our threads isn’t service btw 9FD0D962-F7E8-4125-BB51-2E4DF47969D7.png

i've looked over these with some interest; i think you have them in a catch-22....
brainstorming .... i think they can't do more from their process model, but they should adapt and flexibly respond to you...
easy solution: give you 833 glory, and crowns if they want you to love them and fight that hard again.
but say they can't adjust glory for process/technical or glory-integrity reasons .... then they should give ww team crowns.
but i can hear a voice: "it was your choice to use card troops and resources ....."
.... and that's true; at low glory we would all throw our hands up and move on without too much grumbling.
.... but their business depends on a translation of our competition into attachment to glory ... so they have to value it's integrity....
and they are essentially demeaning your passion/interest in that victory that motivated using resources to be there... which is unwise.
unless they know these bugs are common and they can't afford to set precedent?

the only way out of a catch-22 is ethical unorthodox authority; someone needs to break a rule and give the whole ww-team crowns.

it's a dramatic bug to happen on a dramatic war .... karma.

They have told this lie before - that they can't adjust the glory. Anyone who knows anything about computers understands that is a lie. The programmers could change anything they wanted to, and if they did their database correctly could easily see the glory history (gain/loss and value over time) of any alliance without trouble.

They may not have exposed that functionality to their support department, but I consider that choosing to not be responsive to their customers.

We are about to lose significant Glory Points because the opponent has a base that can’t be accessed. So no, don’t give up guys. Nexon must be willing to respond to it’s legitimate paying customers. Ignoring customers or lying to them constitutes fraudulent and unacceptable business practices.

a rhetorical point when things get heated: it's always a good idea to fairly characterize intent in discourse; i strongly discourage belligerence or false framing.... it's just not useful and it weakens the speaker.

if they refuse to alter glory from their internal process mechanics don't hold that against them; it might be important.
i can easily see their management as cringing at the precedent.... but that's not the real issue; that's just one solution.

at least this month .... this bug and lack of a response has propelled ProdicalThieves into the poster-child for the issue of ww-bugs giving legitimate player grievance.... that's ok, someone has to be and they are passionate enough to hold the banner.

if there is a precedent that NXN is responsible for problems that cost players cards or crowns (from player choice to use them) ... that could be prohibitive to managing the system ... that's not shameful, just grounds for improvement.

note there's a valid perspective that ProdigalThieves lost nothing, since glory is immaterial; so the "insult" to players is ephemeral, and they had the fun of winning. (of course from player perspective this is satirical, don't hang me.)

their system might be too young/fragile to allow them to take responsibility for these bugs. if that's so, it would *not* be a broken game ... but they should explicitly say that card use has a small amount of risk, and they won't (yet) be responsible if there is a technical fumble.

i can easily see them saying it's not guaranteed to work, and it's a player choice to use them. that would relieve all strain and just clarify expectations.
i'm pretty sure it does say that already in terms of service, but crawling through legalities is likely not a skill among us.

shukra , I really appreciate your thoughtful comments. To your point, we just lost a war by 20 seconds bc an attack got glitched out upon exiting the battle and registered incorrectly. 99% instead of 100%. Had that attack registered correctly we would have won on time. In my opinion this is the kinda of glitch you are talking about, and while disappointing, none of us complained about it (lol other than to briefly mention it here to make my point).

In my opinion this kind of thing is more understandable when speaking of patience and understandability. The other situation is different in my opinion, as it was won, not lost, we had all the proof in the world, and yet have had zero contact with anyone since. It’s really bad customer service, period. And that’s not an ok was to treat any customers. That’s my point. I Know they have provided compensation to some teams in the past for similar issues. In any event, communication and respect to some of your most loyal and avid customers/fans, is not asking for anything. That’s my point.

oh yeah, the CS response was terrible; that's clear.
i thought it would be handled well when TinSoldier picked it up; the fact it was subsequently dropped suggests they are having an internal issue that moderators are verboten from talking about. perhaps they want to stop all compensation and you're the test case.
