Now this should be the standard. Why is this an event?
As a leader of alliance WARZONE thats been around since the 1st asian release of dominations with 45+members now only has war been worth it. I used to struggle to get everyone to get attacks in because war loot isnt worth it!! I could even loose oil if i used 3 generals and lost planes. But with this "event" EVERYONES attacks are coming in. It is now worth it. I remember few months ago you dropped war loot. Seriously? Do your dev team even play this game? Need to be abit more kind with war loot if you want people to stay. No1 wants to play and spend 4 hours of troops and troop tactics to negative gear our resources.

This double war loot should be standard. If you want to keep your game alive nexon. We all have jobs and lifes to live aswell. No1 here can play 24/7 which looks like you designed for it to be that way. Ridiculous. Even casual spenders have JOBS to make money to spend on this game. If you make the game more playable (double war loot as standard) it will make alot more people want to keep playing and keep warring. Trust me i seen it 1st hand in my alliance the difference..

I've been trying to think of a reason Nexon has kept the war loot so ridiculously low. The only sensible one I can think of is that the loot levels were set when IA was the max age (just a guess, I started when GA was the max), and they have never been adjusted to account for GA/AA. Better loot would lead to more war participation and a happier player base, both of which should lead to more $$ in Nexon's coffers.

I started when EA was highest age. Lol before war existed!!

The war loot was actually higher few months ago but they dropped it. That many IA bases i come across in war and not worth it for my team mates with what the loot gives. Its ridiculous! The current war loot makes it worth while. Not looking forward for things going back to normal. I only attack for rubies and alliance exp because loot is not worth it at the current normal joke of a standard.

You are 100pct correct with your last sentence sir! Happier player base = thriving community of players = more money.. duuh! How can i apply for nexon marketing team? I garauntee to make this game #1 on the market with a few generous changes toward the player ( customer)

Completely agree. Oil needs to be boosted as well to scale with storage. I can get around 5% of my max food and gold storage (10% right now) but a piddly 2% of my oil storage (4-5% right now) - it should scale in line.

I think it might be because you just need to poach the tc to get full war loot which might be a tn of war loot for a low age player. But, who cares?

Or, they could adjust it by stars too. Increase it a lot and then give out a percentage if you don't get full stars.

But, yes, in a war driven alliance, war loot doesn't matter and isn't the driving factor for being in wars, but it might get more players opted in for wars in other alliances if they could get more loot from it, and that would benefit everyone.

Also, I think there should be a reward (or loot) for defending. This might also encourage some players to put more thought into their war base. I think rubies would be a great reward for defense. Doesn't have to be huge, but give something.

Also, why do command posts hold so much more oil than room for food and gold? My guess is that someone messed up and someone else didn't bother to fix it.

This is a brilliant idea!! Rewards for defence! And have 5 stars 100pct extra loot then standard (double current standard)

5 stars 100pct extra loot
4 stars 75pct extra loot
3 stars 50pct extra loot
2 stars 25 pct extra loot
1 star current standard loot.

Let me try to explain for low war loot . War loot was not intended to be the main prize of winning wars . The main prize was working as a team to beat the opponent . If it were me , war loot would consist of only rubies , as everything else is obtainable elsewhere. You want resources , go to pvp . You want glory and fame , join wars .

over time people have started looking at war loot as a tangible from winning wars. In our alliance war loot is the last thing on our minds. And me personally would take 4 HTs and 4 planes costing 9k oil per battle to war any day, without bothering about losing them.

History tells us that wars HAVE been fought for economics, not just territorial expansion. So yes, I can see where you coming from. But for me, loot is not the priority gain from war .

Have you ever tried to save 200k+ oil? I use command post and war loot as a way of saving 12k oil thats mostly hidden along with 8.4k oil in vault as away of saving without getting drilled constantly facing an uphill battle
And your look on it is stupid. Because fact is everyone wants more loot. This double event has had all our attacks come through and doing 25v25 wars. Before we could only get 15v15 active players. So yes extra war loot is needed because people simply wont participate

I never argued that some people play wars only for the loot. But to those people , it might come as a surprise that some others play purely for the joy of winning the war. What doesn't make sense to the "war loot" players , will make sense to the ones on the other side of the coin.

On the question of have i ever tried saving 200k+ oil, i have not spent a single penny so far in the game and still have 1 level 7 factory, 1 level 6 factory , maxed airstrip , fort, bunkers, maxed strike fighters mk6 and heavy tanks mk5 . And my standing army composition contains 5 Heavy Tanks. Now without spending money, if my play is so heavy oil dependant, i think am managing oil pretty well. And yes using the command post and vault to save oil do not figure in my oil saving strategy. There are more fun ways to save oil.
