Has anyone seen or gotten Invading Mortar damage or Invading Range siege in the war Counci? Maybe it’s me, but I never see those. I often see Mortar damage and Range siege damage.
There is no damage reduction or hit point reduction on the mentioned troops. And I don't see any problem with that.Why is that BHG. Is that fair? Attackers get Mortar damage so why isn’t defense getting invading Mortar damage and invading artillery damage? Would like an answer considering how OP Mortar are already with coalitions.

Until there is no coalition against barrack troops , whatever museum you build against barrack troops, with 3 offensive coalition and council boost for barrack troops, barrack troops are overpowered 100%.
Let's say like this.
We can organize box match, you and me. I can use hands ,you can't. And I will say I am not overpowered.
The last truly OP troop in the game was the Attack Helicopter.The game has always had stronger and weaker comps. Ever.
Right now the most effective comps are just different from the comps that have dominated the meta in the recent past.
Much of this is due to the lack of adjustment in museums, as attackers are the ones who usually reinvent themselves and defenders should only run after losses in layout, buildings (when not maximized) and museum.
As a defensive player, I am fully aware that it is not possible to defend against all types of existing compositions, but it is possible to focus on 1, 2 or even 3 and defend with good chances of success. And proof of this is the considerable drop in wars decided on time as a tiebreaker. This index is already enough to show that the attack is no longer dominating the game as it used to.

Funny, how would you know what I have in my museum?
Let’s stick to the facts. Offense has the opportunity to add Mortar-Artillery damage boost from the Council. Defense does not have any Invading Mortar-Artillery damage nerfs in the Council. My point was that this is not fair and not contributing to the Offense-Defense balance.
Tedi, the mortar attack on the MP is absolutely weak, even with a museum dedicated to them. In WW this composition is only viable thanks to the coalition of Mongols.Offensive player have

- Council - boosting for mortar/ranged siege
- Coalitions - boosting dmg/hp all barrack troops + paratroopers
Defensive player have
- Museum - defending weapon/armor
- Council - 0
- Coalition - 0

not true... I use mortar/siege/apc and i have great success with it. I can five star almost any base (except maybe those that have some really good defensive stats and are above 410 level).Tedi, the mortar attack on the MP is absolutely weak, even with a museum dedicated to them.
Pardon me...correct me if I'm wrong... enemy time spawn defenders exist, enemy towers damage too, same for hp enemy towers. Separately obviously and u don't need legendary artifactsL O L
That sums up my reaction to this entire thread and each of you complaining about no Mortars/heli nerfs in council building…
Yes very observant, there aren’t.
Now let’s also consider what is in there that isn’t available to attackers? Defender spawn time… defender damage… (still no way for an attacker to reduce this, or defender hp)… ALL DEFENSIVE TOWER DAMAGE AND HP (granted you need a legendary but still possible)…
Besides the council, defenders just got a much needed defensive library upgrade and the best possible drone that was game changing.
Maori Coalition- defender HP and damage, can’t be countered by attackers.
Lastly the new alliance perks that are going to be released…. +1 troop spawned on first wave!?!? Double HTs spawning from all bunkers… Wow attackers get 10% healing buff… based on Agility drone that buff isn’t going to be very impressive.
I’ve always been an advocate for defenders needing huge buffs, even created a YouTube channel showcasing how imbalanced it was. To read players complaining because there’s no heli/mortar nerfs in council weighed against all the other aspects I just pointed out is hilarious.
If you’re having trouble defending against mortars… change your war base design in a way that hinders mortars and artillery advancements. Stop copying everyone else’s open design that allows mortars to walk freely raping and pillaging.
Overall… attackers and defenders both have things the other cannot counter, things are not nearly as one sided as they were.
