Recruit a Friend Hiatus

Greeting Leaders,

We will be temporarily turning off our Recruit a Friend feature due to an inflation of cheating accounts created with the intent of gaining Recruit a Friend track rewards. After several weeks of monitoring our Recruit a Friend feature, we found an excessive number of players that were abusing the system. Players found violating this are being banned/suspended according to our cheat protocols.

The program will be coming to a close on 3/5 at 18:00 UTC, but any currently active Recruit a Friend paths can still be completed until that time. Rest assured, the Recruit a Friend feature will be returning, and we look forward to sharing those plans with you in the future. Thank you for your understanding.

So ..... people 'game' the system, within the mechanics you set up, and you call it cheating?? I haven't used the recruit system but I imagine there are plenty of people p!ssed off with BHGs pettiness.
You can't put out an all you can eat buffet then chastise people for helping themselves!

An idea and a big breakdown and banning a number of players and destroying the idea.
All the time I have been playing Dominions, the question has always remained unanswered for me; Hey, are they thinking about the results?!!
You can use a water hose in a garden and make it green and beautiful, or you can leave it and destroy the garden. Inviting friends could be a very useful idea if you only consulted with several active players before starting it. You could control it very simply and easily. The fact that a player can create dozens of fake accounts and be rewarded in one day is only due to the weakness of the game developers. There were many ways to run this event properly. But you never wanted to get advice from active players in this game and apply feedback.
