What KA is doing, and what others are doing is different. Although it's not clear, KA seem to want to feed their ego by having 10 KA alliances at the top. By beating the same alliances from below, they prevent these teams from ever reaching the top.

Other alliances leaving, is for multiple reasons. Some alliances break up. Some are tired of playing for 5 glory points. Some are tired of being targeted for their points by alliances using p2w. In any case, if people leave their alliance in the top100, they should close it, or give it away....something we have done 3 times now.

We did a restart.. left a yucky taste in throat stealing that glory ... That was not why we did it ... but that was the result regardless

TinSoldier , if an alliance wants to genuinely close down, because of lost members or lost interest, or whatever, can they ask CS to close it down? Will CS close it down?
Just curious.

Can’t a leader close it down by kicking everyone and then leaving the alliance themselves?

Mcnasty , does the alliance then disappear from the ether, or does it stay there in limbo, popping up on all sorts of rankings/searches?

I don’t think it would. I’ve never seen an alliance with 0 members. I may have to try this with my second account and see what happens

The alliance disappears when there are no other members and the leader leaves.
