Rethink the cost of drone upgrades

Accounts that have been in the drone age from the beginning were able to research almost all directives for free. This bug existed for months and players could save 8 * 100k (unlock) + 12* (200k + 250k) (upgrades) = 6.2 million oil. New drone age players have to pay these amounts in full. This is a big disadvantage. How about drastically reducing costs here to be fair?

If someone is having trouble in drone age getting oil, they should struggle to upgrade stuff… just my opinion.

I don’t understand how they can clear a forest in the Iron Age in hours but industrial age takes weeks. I agree that should be changed.

My opinion is that lower ages should be able to advance faster than higher ages. I think there should be a 5% time discount (for all building, library and armory upgrades) per age down against all ages not in the top 3 ages with a cap at 30%.

Aka Drone Info and Digital get no discount.
Space age 5%
Cold War 10%
atomic 15%
Global 20%
Industrial 25%
Enlightenment and below 30%

When Automated age comes out, discounts shift.

You make a very valid point. What technology did the Iron Age have that allowed them to clear a forest in 5 minutes, that the Space Age doesn't have? I'd like to see the devs answer that headscratcher....
