Revenge mechanics change

A revenge should be different than a battle.
Revenge should ignore peace treaty of the defender and attacker. Because it is our right to have revenge (thus, no punishment by loosing my peace treaty) and the peace treaty of the defender should be ignored because he deserves the counter attack and should not be protected for his attack. ;-)
I don't fight much because I don't want to loose my peace treaty. With this change I could enjoy the game much more with more battles. Pleeeeas Nexon. Consider this small change that would make the me hanic much more interesting!

I actually agree with this. The system should ignore the fact that the attacker is online and allow revenge anyways.

How would the system ignore if they're online? Any other player in the general player 'pool' that's online is ignored, so how would the game distinguish from one to the other?
Also, If I steal a truckload of oil and activate a peace treaty overnight, I would hate that my PT is invalidated by anyone.
What then is the point of a peace treaty? It becomes worthless.

I think a tweak could be ok. I dont think it should ignore the PT of your opponent for the reasons Manifesto mentioned. However i think it would be an improvement if it didnt void your own PT.

At the very least, the process of revenging should be much easier. It's such a pain to click on revenge, wait for 10-15 seconds for the game to load and then say they have a PT. It shouldn't take that long. And then if they do have a PT, you're taken back to your base and you have to click and scroll all over again to try to find another revenge target. It's just not worth it to me.

Peace treaty is to be ignored only for the purpose of the revenge. No one else can attack you. And a player can only revenge once against any given attacker.

Either that, or the revenge function should be removed from the game as it serves no real purpose right now. I believe it was added as a chance to return the medals you lost? Because in most cases the attacker would already have spent their accumulated resources so there is nothing to steal back anyways.

One can really flesh out the details and make it a decent system but aside from the 'It's a cute idea' I don't think it's a high priority with everything going on right now :D

I don't think that revenge should ignore peace treaties. Imagine that you've spent your hard earned crowns to initiate a peace treaty, but, during this you're about to be attacked by 10 different players who want vengeance from you, but happens to do that during that period. What's the point of peace treaty, then?

Revenge should not be able to bypass a PT. I send my precious workers out on expeditions to have some in inventory for when I’m saving oil for a huge purchase like the 250K oil I’m going for now.
