Road network bonus, what does it do for me?

I'm wondering what the road network bonus does for me, at this point i'm trying to connect all buildings to a road connected to my town center But what does it do for example a garrison or a library?
And whar happens when a farm is not connected?

Hi Denniz -- welcome to the forums!

Connecting a building to your road network gives you a +10% bonus to your gold generation. The benefit then is to the road from the building, as opposed to the other way around. That said, this also indirectly helps other buildings which rely on gold to build and upgrade as you increase your capacity to generate it. When a building is not connected, that's 10% less gold generation than you would otherwise be making.
